Eve walked over to where Caine laid out the blue prints for the new estate. Eyes changing from a mint green to a crystal blue as she looked from the blue prints and over to the open land. Imagining what it would look like once it was finished. What was in her mind would not compare to what it will truly become once it was finished but it gave her an idea. Once she understood what the job might entitle she walked away to allow others to see the blueprints.

Once he had spoken enough, Caine left the blue prints as he had rolled them out so that anyone and everyone was able to observe them. He would have preferred to build on his own that day, not in the mood to speak light words and other chit chatter. He gave a small nod to Erebus before he stepped off and headed towards the foundations where some tradesmen had already started laying bricks at the entry point of the building. Today he would do the same, thinking if maybe he focused on laying enough bricks and building walls he wouldn't have to make them in his mind to push away horrid thoughts.

He let Caine do his thing as everyone went up to read from the plans. Ajax himself has already read through them all and knew them well. Once the talk was over he turned towards where his sister had been. Saying nothing he looked her over to make sure that she was alright then he moved on rubbing Eve's shoulder on his way past he went to the opposing side from where most had gone. To lay brick and foundations.
He had things to think about, he knew what had recently happened could not go unspoken less it tear a part the whole coven. But he did not yet know how he would tackle it.

She sat in the garden, staring at the dirt. A frown creased her lip and she sighed. She felt the sting in the backs of her eyes and she growled. "Stop.." she bit sharply at herself. She stuck her hands deep in the soil, and closed her eyes. She left herself and trailed through the dirt to sew seeds into the earth. She worked to keep from going crazy..all of the recent events had her in a spiral down. She needed a distraction..

Vex, or as some of the locals who'd met him already, 'Blackblood,' had been waiting behind the crowds of vampires and other creatures. He wasn't dressed for labor, persay, as all that could be seen of him was a large red coat, with a collar that rose to cover the lower half of his face. His eyes were shaded by the favored red lenses, bearing only the golden frame to be held over the bridge of his nose. The sleeves of the coat had been removed by professional means, and stitched to fit the black leather-bound sleeves and gloves. He blinked calmly and watched all others part from the schematics of the new Coven manor to be built. He had missed the war, as was stated to him already by one vampire, and he'd missed many before it. This was not his task to help, and not his family, nor his problem. He was not even a registered citizen of the lands, or of the Coven that oversaw it... But, to rise, and assume what was his rightfully, he must first make his name known in all lands.
As the Blackblood moved forward, his stride caused the lower of his coat to part, beneath were black ragged denim pants, with miscellaneous clips and belts that crossed and weaved over each leg, though not as numerous in number as the first of his appearance's choice of wardrobe. He stopped briefly in front of the plans, and lowered his head slightly to look over the sketches and measurements. Beneath him, where his shadow resided beneath the skirting tails of his coat, writhed and wriggled in eternal pitch, slowly expanding outward from his body, seeking out necessary tools to help. Eyes moved over the people gathered, and what jobs were being accomplished, to eliminate by choice what must be done and what can be done by his presence.

Working her hands in the soil she felt the angry knot form in her stomach. Her hatred of herself for what happened, and for being perceived as a monster, at least in her eyes was more then she could stand. Caine wasn't speaking to her, and she felt ....hurt. She growled sharply and all of that energy came out into the ground. the plants burst from the ground but then withered as soon as they did. after a few moments, she smiled again. the plants, bloomed into radient beauty. Their smells were heavenly, and their colors breath taking. She stood after amoment and looked at the flowers. Her arms covered in dirt she sighed softly. she had much more to do, but this was a start.

The Blackblood looked over with a slow turn of his head toward the woman who'd caused something of a ruckus in what appeared to be a new garden. The male shifted on his heels to turn his body fully and take in a more observing glance. Despite the destructive force applied to the ground, it seemed to have caused a phoenix effect, in which new blooms had replaced the old.
"Hmm..."
The male's shadow tendrils, by now, had expanded secretly and almost completely unnoticed across the entire area of construction. Along their surface, Vex stepped forward and the shadows rippled gently with each step he made toward Sauri Matashina. He'd recognized her, only from rumor and words of mortals, although they'd never formally met. Finally, standing just a few feet from the woman, he stopped and waited until she faced him. He bowed politely, the half-cowl collar of his coat keeping secured and most of his face veiled, he addressed her politely.
"Good Evening, Madame. How might I assist in the reconstruction of your home?"

Veering away from Erebus and Alex she moved towards the gardens, feeling a little impatient and on end since learning about Sauri's involvement in Romal's death. No one had told her the details yet but she knew that Sauri couldn't have been the one to hurt Romal, not ever. Seeing the flowers bloom in an angry display of power nearly made her hesitate but doing so would only cause Sauri pain. Instead she brought a basket with her with gardening props, a spade, a few small hand shovels, pincers, and rose blossom seeds as well as Snow Drops and Forget-Me Nots. "Need a hand? I'm not good with building homes, and work better with gardens and herbs." There was no hatred or hurt or anger held towards Sauri as she approached.
Moss green eyes moved towards the man in Sauri's company and she suddenly felt like she was being intrusive, but that probably wouldn't make her go away. Somehow she thought Sauri could use familiar company and if that were the case then she would work alongside the woman she trusted, if not then she'd work quietly. Neither of those could hurt.

Cerverous materialized from the darkness between some of the trees on the line, making it impossible for anyone other than those standing right there to guess whether he was there a moment before or not. his pace was somewhat expedient and this cause the tails of his red coat to trail behind in the air and revealing the black jeans and boots beneath. one of these boots landed on one of Vex's shadow tendrils and he stopped, opened his eyes and looked around with a puzzled look, half covered by his neck length black hair, and an unconventional red strip in the bangs sat up against a white one. his one visible eye was a deep crimson, which he now turned on the tendril slithering beneath his feet."hmm"
removeing both hand from his jacket pockets, the right completely covered in tape, he twitched the two first fingers of this hand up repeatedly. this caused the tendril to raise out of the ground to hover before him. no doubt Vex would feel another grip on his shadow, just as Cerverous felt him.

The sound of the male's voice draws her attention. Her eyes deep black voids she looked at him with tired eyes. She returns the gesture of greeting slowly. "Good evening Sir." She said quietly, and looked around. "How are you with fence building?" She asked, then introduced herself despite the fact that he probably knew who she was. "I am Sauri. You are?" She said, then looked to Xiomara, a little surprised that someone came to be by her.
"I would love the company Xio..." She said and gave a weak smile. "You know it was not me...I could never do that to anyone." She said softly to her then looked back at the man standing in front of her. "Follow me, I will show you where to start." She said and led him a little ways to show where the fence would go.

While he was still bowing, behind the red blocker glasses his eyes widened suddenly, for a fraction of a second. Someone or something had stepped rather painfully and heavily on his tendril. He was used to pain, and forever would be no stranger to its presence, and this new presence was something like a fly caught in a spider's web. His eyelids lowered slightly, and his stature withdrew back to a stand as Sauri Matashina had begun to speak to him. He made no sudden movements that would be visible to who ever had stepped on his tendril, as he held no desire for combat on such a short whim. It would be obvious that the tendril was his, since it would seem that all who were scattered along the grounds knew one another to some extent. But, with no further need for the tendrils, they shot away from the grounds and slithered back to their master, tucking quickly beneath his coat before anyone none-the-wiser could really detect that they were present.
"I am of many names, but I am most commonly addressed and known as Blackblood. A pleasure to meet you, finally, Madame Sauri Matashina."
He paused a moment, considering his carpentry skills. He'd never really done anything as simple as fence-making, although, he begun to hope she was not thinking of making him a Tom Sawyer or Huckleberry Finn and pushing him to paint a picket fence. The vampire grinned beneath his collar, and uttered no laughter, keeping silent as he spoke again once more.
"If it is a fence that you require, a fence you shall have. Wrought iron pikes sidled along stone columns, or is there a personal preference?"

the tendril jerked under his grip and at first instinct he held it fast. he wished not to have a tug-of-war match at the moment, especially not over a darkness that was not even his, so he quickly released and allowed the tendril to be on its way. but in his curiosity he followed it with a turn of his head, eyes falling on the three that stood there. he had yet to meet the male he saw, and soon found himself walking toward them. Xio was doing what she does: what she can for those important to her. he was not good at these things but still felt he should. And as he studied the stranger a random thought came to him that his attire was coincidentally a lot like how he used to dress.
then he was on them, standing next to Xio silently watching, his lack of tact for once impeding his ability to speak.

Her brow raised when he addressed her by her full name, which she had not given. So he did know of her. A slight nod and she looked at him."I prefer wrought iron, I like the look, and stone pillars between would be beautiful, it would give my plants a place to grow on." She mused and then looked to Cerverous, and for a brief moment wondered if he knew... A soft sigh and she looked back at. blackblood. "Interesting name you go by sir." She said and then fell quiet, having withdrawn some since the tradgedy she had inadvertently caused.

The Blackblooded nodded and paid almost no attention to the man that had approached the other woman as he and Sauri Matashina had left the garden to her working. His legs moved and shortened their stride to keep pace with the Coven mistress, speaking little to her, except for what he needed to know. But her sudden silence had tugged his eyes for a moment, and he glanced down to his side to take her into view. Eyes, shielded by the sunglasses despite the late hour of the evening read over the facial features displayed, even the minimal twitches of muscle mass near the cheeks and corners of her mouth. It was not his place to ask, and he would not pry, though he merely presumed that she was distressed over the war, and the toll it took upon the city. He cleared his throat subtly, addressing that he was going to attempt and continue conversation of his name or alias.
"You are too kind. Interesting is hardly the word some have chosen to describe my common name. Although, it is a more polite and socially appropriate name to present to others rather than the name I was born with. That name would shake almost any to the bone upon first mention, so I do not use it... Please, just call me Blackblood, there is no need to address me as Sir."

She looked at blackblood and nodded. "I will not ask you your birth name." She said and visibly tried to relax. She figured he didn't know about what she...well, Nyx had done. She looked up at him, black eyes studious and guarded. She found him unsetteling, and she shifted her dress slightly. Long ringlets of jet black hair curled down her back. "As you wish, I will address you by your name alone." She said softly. "I will have the materials for the fence brought to you. I appreciate this greatly."
