Grant me Serenity (pt 2)

[Darcassan]

Darcassan studied her reaction before getting out and started to gather his weapons. "Forgive me Ariana but I don't think that is a wise idea" He didn't look up as he started to dry out the armor and clothing he always wore.

He had nothing against her but he didn't know how to express the feeling she may have back to her, he had been taught so differently to her as he sighed and just sat down, looking at the silver pole, thinking to himself.

[Ariana]

"I see.."

She climbed out of the lake and looked to Mandre who flew away for several minutes. She crossed her arms over her breasts. With her attire she felt far more exposed than she had earlier. Mandre soon returned and dropped a pack of clothes at her feet. She scooped it up and looked towards the tree's.

"Excuse me.."

Her voice was in a whisper, not even looking back at him before she ran off to the woods to change. Her body trembling as it hit her. Exhaustion and then something else that she had never experienced.

[Darcassan]

Rose to his feet as he get dressed again, he looked at Kase and blinked when the creature bit into his hand, he yanked it back and looked back toward the trees, tilting his head before groaning slightly.

"Ariana, have I upset you with my answer?" He didn't go near her while she was changing out of the high respect he held for her.

[Ariana]

She closed her eyes and lowered her head, trying to steady her breath.

"I..I'm fine."

Ariana called back to him before beginning to change into some clean clothes. Mandre kept closer to her now, sensing her discomfort. She raised her head once she had changed and looked at the peregrine falcon.

"I'm fine Mandre..Just stay close.."

Tossing the shredded clothes into the pack, she closed it before moving back out into the open.

[Darcassan]

Darcassan shakes his head. "You say you are fine but yet your arua shows otherwise." He was now sitting beside Kase, lightly petting the massive head with a bloody hand, he tilted his head before looking away.

With his free hand seemed to move the lake seemed to vanish as quickly as it had come, he thought back to something he was told and looked at her again.

[Ariana]

"I am fine Cassan."

She said as she approached closer to them. Sitting down several feet away from him and looking up at the stars. Her pack was beside her and Mandre flew down to land on her shoulder. Preening her hair as though he were preening his feathers.

[Darcassan]

Darcassan looked at her before up to the stars. "Guardian angels." He spoke more to himself then her or the others, he seemed to rest against Kase more as he watched the stars. His eyes seemed to close as he just rested there.

He was silent but his thoughts were running at several thoughts per second as he seemed to zone out but he was well aware of everything around them.

[Ariana]

She shook her head and closed her eyes. Fingers tapping the skin along her leg. The fracture still there, only the skin was no longer bruised. No more blood clumped in her hair. No dirt along her skin. She remained silent, keeping her thoughts locked up tight within her mind and within her heart.

[Darcassan]

Darcassan moved slightly and touched where the fracture was and used his energy to heal the bone. "You seem stressed." He moved to stand as he looked down at her and bowed. "Forgive me that I have made you this way I will take me leave now."

He looked at Kase and nodded slightly, he moved and now sat on the back on the massive creature, he gave one last look at her before nudging Kase into a run toward the deeper part of the plains near the edge of the land itself.

[Ariana]

She raised her head, taking a deep breath to push her feelings back out of the way. As her father had warned they would only leave to pain and suffering. Raising up she looked at Mandre, petting his head with a fingertip before walking in the opposite direction that Cassan had gone. Keeping tears and the pain of rejection away.

[Darcassan]

Darcassan sighed inwardly and turned Kase around into a full sprint, he crossed the grounds where they had just been sitting not to long ago as he sweeped Ariana up and off her feet onto Kase's back without stopping.

He never said anything as Kase kept up the sprint till they reached a massive cave and entered. He moved his hand within his jacket and pulled out a small rod , whispering a few words under his breath as the rod seemed to light up and light the way till they were deep in the cave. He slowed Kase before bringing the creature to a compleate stop. Dismounting and looked around the cave.

[Ariana]

Ariana reached for her hunting knife when something suddenly wrapped an arm around her and lifted her off her feet. She turned her head with a scowl to see that it was Cassan. Carefully placing the knife back into its sheath with all the bouncing from the tiger running. She seemed to huff, a sound that would go un-noticed with all the running. When entered a cave she reached for something to grab, whether Cassan's arm or Kase's fur. The deeper they went, the tighter her grip became. Even when Cassan dismounted she held her grip on Kase.

[Darcassan]

Darcassan looked at her, he found what he was looking for and moved back over to Kase, leading the creature with Ariana on his back to a massive underground cave, it would have been big enough for a city to exsist within it, yet all it held was a massive home.

He petted Kase's head ever so slightly. "IT's not safe outside still so we can rest and be safe here, I know you do not like inclosed spaces which is why I came here, it's big enough to house a city down here."

[Ariana]

She shook her head, unable to take the enclosed space.

"No..no take me back out. Take me back out Cassan.."

Ariana nearly jumped off Kase when he started to move further into the cave. It was dark, cold, and damp. She could not stay here. Her hands were shaking as she dared not look around. Instead she turned and began to walk back towards the way they had come. Keeping her eyes on the floor so not to remind herself that she was in a cave.

[Darcassan]

Darcassan watched her, he backed off, he couldn't stop her should she choose to leave. "I understand you don't trust spaces but you don't even seem to trust me." He looked away and started to move over to Kase, leaving her to do as she wished.

He wouldn't stop her for the reasons if he had he would make her feel worse, he burried his feelings once more and the air around himself seemed to grow colder as he shut his thoughts and feelings away for her, even Kase cowered slightly now as he gave a small whine. Darcassan just seemed to move over to the wall and slide down it, keeping his back against it.

Calling Kase to him as the massive animal lay in his lap as he just rested his head on the massive creatire's back and closed his eyes, slipping into a medatative state, the air remained like ice around his and Kase.
