"With my life" he replied knowing that as long as he and Alex were linked the kid was in danger as Boreas searched for him. But he would lie low for the month.
"Even when the link is gone I will watch over you. Now finish your food its getting late ok?"

Nodded and smiled ever so slightly, he finished up before taking a long drink, he started to hicup and thumped his chest twice. "Ate to fast." He couldn't help but laugh, it felt odd but it just escaped his lips.

He smiled at the reaction Alex made to having the hiccups and then laughed at his face when he laughed about it. There would be a lot more laughing coming from the kid if he had anything to do with it.

"You'll be fine. I'll go put your clothes away take it easy"

Nodded, he watched Erebus and lay his head on the air rest, he yawned against and couldn't help it, before he knew he was sleeping curled up on the chair, his body for once relaxed compleatly, he trusted Erebus more then he had anyone else.

He took his time putting the clothes away, taking the silence to think for himself for a while. All though he was enjoying the company of Alex, the sorting of the young boys clothing made him remember his son with a little saddness in the knowledge that he should have been the one he had to do such things for.

Returning to the living room he looked down at Alex seeing him sleeping. He decided to leave him there not wanting to wake him.
Placing a large woolen blanket over him he lowered the lights. Then quietly left going to his own room.

Slept soundly, curled up and into the blanket. he felt the sadness from Erebus and knew the clear reason for it, he never woke and just remained sleeping while Erebus had gone to his room, a few hours later he rose and looked at the blanket, folding it neatly and placed a note onto it.

Gathering a small amount of clothing, weapons and food and headed outside, sitting on the step and stared up at the sky. "If I could return your son to you I would take his place in death so you could be happy.."

He did not sleep for a long time just looked up at the top corner of the window in his room. Stretched out on the bed he contemplated everything that had recently happened in his life and in the life of those around him. Eventually he did fall asleep, unwelcome dreams of his new family tree keeping that sleep disturbed.

Another few hours past before he jolted awake his eyes blazed before closed again. Rolling out of bed he walked to the mirror staring in at it he ran his fingers along his throat down to his mid chest inspecting it for anything unusual.

Moved away from where he had been sitting and moved toward the town, he kept walking, ignoring most of what was around, giving no passing thought to those who watched him, he didn't stop as he passed through the town and kept walking, he pulled out a set of headphones and put them on, listening to the blasting music that now filled his ears.

Stopping on the edge of the lands that were owned by the twins and sat with his back against the tree, starting to eat a little of the food he had packed, thinking over things as he listened to the music, he wasn't sure where to go or what to do.

Going into the bathroom joined with his bedroom he put the shower on letting it heat up to a temperature that would burn most before he even considered getting into it.
Half undressed something suddenly changed in the room the temperature dropping he paused looking around seeing nothing within the room with him he glanced out into the bedroom.

Behind him the glass shower door started to frost over, ice quickly covering it. The rooms temp plummeting quickly.
Feeling the cold bite his skin he shuddered breathing starting to struggle against the cold air entering his lungs he stumbled a little putting his hand out to steady himself he span something invisible pushing him.

Crashing straight through the iced glass Erebus smacked his head off of the bath on the way down. Opening a large cut above his eye brow.
Hitting the tiles the ice and the presence in the room suddenly left. . The shower still running the bathroom gradually heated back up the only sign that the cold had been was frost bite marks around Erebus's wounds where the cold had met his skin.

[Alex]

Freezing dead in his tracks and looks sharply over his shoulder, he sprinted at full speed, he weaved and jumped over anything in his path and stopped once he had reaced the place where Erebus lived, he pushed open the door inside and looked around, he could hear the shower and guessed that was where Erebus was.

He used his shoulder to slam into the door and looked around, all the shattered glass and blood, moving sharply to Erebus and looked to the ice markings he knew to be frost bite, he grabbed a towel and pressed it to the head wound. "Wake up, please wake up daddy" There was panic and fear in his voice, his face flushed with worry as his heartbeat was already well beyond normal ability from running back to help him.

Being shaken he grumbled taking a few minutes to come round enough to open his eyes. Blinking slowly he stayed quiet for a while trying to work out what the hell was going on.
Gradually pain started to wake him more the voice of Alex sounding echoed and far away but at least he could now hear it.
Putting his hand onto his head he felt where Alex was holding the towel and he pushed it away feeling out the cut on his head he cringed promptly stopping.

Twisting his body the broken glass further sliced through his skin which for now he did not notice or react to. Still not really with it, his face and eyes pale from the whack to the head.
Fingers curling around the bath he used it to help him start standing again the world wobbling to his eyes.
"You..ok..Alex. You hurt?" confused still he assumed the blood was from the child.
"Did you cut yourself?"

He looked at all the blood and shakes his head sharply, moving and took his arm, moving it own his shoulders. "Never mind that are you alright" He was still breathing hard but he hardly noticed his entire focus was on Erebus.

Leading him away from the blood and into the lounge, helping him sit down and looked around. "Where do you keep the first aid kit Erebus." He ignored the burning from his own wounds from sharing his body and mind with the older male.

Led by him into the living room his head seemed to heavy for his shoulders everything still sounding to quiet.
"I'm fine.." grabbing the arm of the sofa he sat down with Alex's help. Sliding down it he lay down his arm hanging over the edge growing more relaxed the longer he lay still.
"I dunno...bathroom" he replied closing his eyes feeling as though he was desperate for sleep.
"Put a plaster on your cut and go to bed" he muttered to him quietly his head still backwards over what had happened.

Stared at him for a moments, shaking his head and moved to the bathroom, it was then that he caught his own reflection and looked at his own wounds, he just shook it off and moved back to Erebus, starting to work on his wounds.

"Don't fall asleep, you hit your head pretty hard by the look of it." He started to work on cleaning and dressing the cuts he could find, leaving the head one to last cause he knew it would need stitches.

"Noah I said go to sleep..." he mumbled on the verge of falling unconscious his eyes rolling backwards on his head his eye lids slid shut. "Mum..will be mad at you if you.." he trailed away totally passing out becoming unresponsive to Alex or to any pain.

As Erebus lost hold the taps opened within the house flooding the sinks, the bath and the showers until water began to collect and slide across the floor making its way room to room until it met in the middle, a shimmer central to it which started to grow into a mass of darkness. Erebus's biological father having found out what was happening.
