Sharing one's Power

Shakes his head sharply and just stared at Erebus before looking down. "I can't draw to save myself" He knew he had lost control and was glad Erebus was a lot stronger then himself to keep him under control.

He decided then that it was probably best that they left the store. Choosing next their last shop to hit before returning home would be a book store. If the kid refused school he could at least read to educate him with things other then the messed up little world they lived in.
"Books then"

[Alex]

Stared at the book store, placing his hands to the glass, his eyes closed for a few seconds as he rested his head against the glass as well. "I do like reading but none of those books are ones I have not read." He turned to him. "I live here and I've got all those books at home.. Well I did"

Stumped he sighed rolling his eyes.
"Well then kid where do you want to go. I refuse to simply just get you clothes. A man has to have some stuff to his name"
He looked into the window wondering how the kid had, had any such time on his hands to read all of them"

[Alex]

Looked at the window again. "He made us read at least six a day as well as our training, if we didn't read them then we were..." He stopped and just shrugged, pushing away from the window and took Erebus's hand and tugged on it slightly, leading him to a half burned home within the most dangerous part of town and pointed to it.

He followed Alex without question. He obviously wanted to show him something or take him some where.
Looking at the house they had been stopped before he nodded understanding it to be where Alex had been living.
"Where did your family go. Dead all of them?"

[Alex]

Looked at the home. "Mother died durning birth of younger sibling. I think big sister and little brother died during the war, I can't be sure but I can't feel them anymore like I used to and father died when the war started" He let go of his hand and looked at the home. "I don't feel anything from there anymore it's just like an empty shell, is that normal?"

"Yeah its probably a healthy attitude, as they your father did not treat you well. Its good that you let go"
He had never actually told Erebus that his father mistreated him but it screamed to Erebus with everything Alex had said to him of his life so far, which had made him want even more to give Alex some form of a life.
"Lets go then huh? Unless you want to look for something?"

[Alex]

Walked in and kicked a few things out of the way, he wanted one thing as he digged around, throwing things left and right till he found it and craddled it close to his chest as he walked back outside and stood beside him again. Nodding.

He moved over to the house leaning on the outside wall whilst he waited for Alex to go and do what he felt he needed to do.
Closing his eyes he listened to the kid move things around inside, making sure that he was ok he did not invade his privacy.
Opening his eyes again he moved off away from the wall and stepped towards Alex.
"Got what you came for?"

[Alex]

Held up a small photo, it was of him and his mother. "This was taken a few days before she died and it was the only one we got that he wasn't there to stop it." He slipped it within his pocket and started to walk away, letting Erebus take the lead.

"Alright, well its good you managed to find it then"
He led the way deciding that Alex had probably had enough for the day and would need a break that it had been a long day.
Heading back home he let Alex do his thing while he want to cook him some food.

Moved to the couch and curled up on it, listening to what Erebus was doing and yawned slightly, he couldn't help cut curl up in the chair, he felt safer when he was somewhere that Erebus had been sitting.

He cooked up something small for Alex, some pasta with tomato sauce and sausage cut up into it. Putting it into a bowl he walked over placing it onto the coffee table beside the kid he left then returned with a glass full of apple juice.
"You should go to sleep after this"

Grinned softly up at Erebus and gladly took the food, he couldn't help but feel happier then he was used to which surprised him as he started to eat, he nodded ever so slightly. "You will keep me safe right."
