Stopped in his tracks, glancing over his shoulder as he leaned against the wall, thinking to himself. He had seen the flashs when Erebus had shuddered, he didn't say anything and just rested against the wall looking like a dazed living doll, sorting out the thoughts in his head.

Downing a glass of cold water he sighed keeping the tap running to splash his face. Re-gaining his composure he walked from the kitchen out into the area of the house that held the hallway to the bedrooms.
"Hey what you doing?" he walked over towards Alex who was standing against the wall next to his bedroom.
"you choose one you want to be in yet?"

Snapped out of his thoughts and blinked, looking around and looked at the rooms, he had forgotten to look for the room to stay in as he just stood there, rubbing the side of his head. "Nothing, was just thinking and any is fine so long as it close to yours." Hiding the sad expression.

"...Alright" he pushed open the door closest to his own bedroom it was a large room basically the same set up as his own with the same floor length windows covered in metal blinds everything painted over with a fire proof liquid which gave them a strange shine.
"Will this do?"
"If you want this you can decide how you want it and we can go into town to sort it out"

Looked at it. "No it's more then enough, used to share a room with my siblings and it was like this room was the entire house space of my old home..." He stopped himself and just looked down, he rested his hands into his pockets. "I don't need anything else do I?"

"Well I guess you will need some clothes and things, do you want to go to school?" he asked quickly "You will need stuff if you do and come on kid you are nine bloody years old you must want a toy or a bike or something right?"
He knew the kid had suffered and been forced to grow up early but that didn't mean he had to continue to be forced to act like an adult for the rest of his childhood, he had the whole rest of his life to be grown up.

Just looked at him and shrugged. "I don't even know what being a kid is like I've been trained in the arts of fighting since I was able to walk." He thought to himself before leaning on the wall, unsure how to proceed on the subject of a childhood.

"Then you should go to school and learn what it is like to hang around with other kids your own age you can watch them and learn what it is to be your own age" he got up and motioned for him to follow.
"Grab your shoes its 9am now the shops will be open we can go get you come things. The school term starts in 8 weeks that means I need to get shit moving in the courts to be appointed your guardian"

Stood firm and sharply shook his head. "You think it wise putting something like me in with the humans, great call" He didn't play well with others and he also didn't wish to go to school it would mean he would be surrounded by others and would hardly get much alone time to himself.

"Ok ok thats fine, but we still have to go into town you need clothes on your back and shoes on your feet" he replied grabbing his wallet he walked out of the house and down the road heading into town not waiting for Alex he wanted to see if he would follow him.
Whisteling as he walked he shoved his hands into his pockets wondering what sort of clothes Alex would pick out to wear.

Blinked and followed after Erebus, he grumbled at the older male for ditching him before making it to his side. "What did you grab before anyway when you left the house." He hadn't got a good look at it and was curious about the object.

"My wallet, its got my cards and my money in it" he responded looking across at him with a smile glad that he had followed him, "I will get you one if you want"

It didn't take long for the two of them to get into town. Putting his sunglasses on as he always did when in the company of many humans he walked through into a large clothing store going to the area which held the childrens clothing.
"Have a look around tell me what you like"

Looked around, he had never seen so many items of clothing as he looked through the racks, he couldn't help but think of stealth and how to conciel his weapons within the linings. "Would you ground me if I tinkered with them after you brought them to fit my clothing style and weapons." He joked.

He laughed loudly at what the kid had said ignoring the looks of other people in the store he walked across to Alex having an armful of clothes in his grasp ready to buy for the boy
"No do what you want to it once I have paid for it they are yours and they belong to you. Now come on choose some stuff and some shoes" he patted him on the shoulder going to get him some under clothes and socks.

Looked at all the clothing and blinked. "Uh, remember I'm used to about two sets of clothing not a whole bunch, don't go over board old man." He bolted off to find a few other things to go with the clothing from belts to shoes and he found a few other things. Going overboard himself was the last thing on his mind right now.
