He sat down eating through the food Alex had made for him. Looking over the food he usually would have got really mad that Alex had read him finding it all really invasive but Alex and he currently had a link so it didn'r really matter anyway.
"Sure what do you want to ask me?"

Looked over his shoulder, a serious look crossed his face. "Once the month is up what happens then." He had remembered it the last time the link had been broken, everything went back to watching alone and fending for himself no matter the wounds, never having anyone looking out for his back. Erebus had been the first to even show him any sort of care.

He didn't flinch at the question it didn't bother him to him it was a pretty cut and dry, black and white answer.
"nothing happens, you can stay here, you can go. Same as now" he looked over at him. "If you want to stay here with me thats fine, just means I have to find myself a lawyer and apply to be your guardian or something, but keep in mind I won't let you smoke again if I do"

Blinked and just nodded. "Why bother, no other family is alive to claim me and I don't think you'd find any lawyer's around, most have split and why the hell not, you do it." He grumbled as if he had been scoulded for something he usually knew how to do and always did it despite what he was told.

"I am old, your not" he replied about the smoking thing. Finishing off his food and drink he cleaned away the plates and other items sorting the kitchen back out.
"And I can easily find a lawyer, just probably not one in this town, but hell if you don't want me to bother I will not. What do you want?"

Blinked, he hadn't ever been asked that question before as he stared out the window again. "What do I want..." He couldn't answer that question as he just got up and walked over to him, looking at him. "What do you want."

"Thats not what I asked is it?" he replied looking down towards Alex "We are not playing that game I asked you what you want. Tell you what you tell me things about you and what you want and I will answer any questions you want to ask me. All you have to do is tell me what it is that you want from me and what you want me to do. If you want to stay with me you will do it as a minor as you are under age and you will be looked after as a minor"

Couldn't help but tilt his head. "You sure you can handle someone like me is what I should be asking. Besides I'm not a weaklingyou know." He folded his arms over his chest but something in his thoughts sparked a feeling of care for Erebus and he would also feel the slight change, the calmer feeling. "What I want is a home and I want a father that won't go away.."

"I know you're not you idiot" he scruffed up his hair "I just watched you beat the head in off a new vampire, not many grown men could do that" he walked across the room sitting down he crossed his legs relaxing onto the sofa.
He listened to what Alex had to say to him now, he felt bad that all he wanted was what many children simply had and took for granted every day of their lives.
"If thats what you want, then you stay here"

Watched him, he listened and sharply turned away, he nodded before slipping out of the room and sat outside, he didn't want to show Erebus just how happy he actually was, he looked around as he finally lowered his guard fully as he just relaxed outside. "Oh I stole your cigarette's as well" He called out and waited with a knowing grin.

He stayed where he was allowing Alex to have a little bit of time on his own. "Ohhh thats fine, as soon as I am your legal guardian I can ground you for stealing from me" he smiled at himself relaxing himself down on the floor he stared at the roof still not feeling one hundred percent after the night before.

Smirked. "You couldn't ground me to save your life old man." He called back, it was an odd happy tone to it as he moved back inside and walked over to him, nudging him lightly. "Pain getting to you, I can numb it for a while, give you a break"

"I could, I will build a chamber in the basement or something" he laughed looking up at Alex as he walked in.
"No its not getting to me, if I stay lying on the floor I feel prefect, you should choose a different bedroom, a double one, there are two that are free, go have a look and see if you like one then we can go into town and you can get things that you need"

[Alex]

Blinked down at him, unsure what he meant by things he would need as he went off to explore, worry flashed over his face as he left his side to look at the rooms, the moment he was out of sight the guards went up again. After what had happened already he wasn't taking any chances.

Waiting for him to leave the room the smile left his face, closing his eyes he tried to banish the image of the dead kid out of his head, the mess he had been in was similar to what his own son has looked like when he had uncovered him from the rubble his arms outstretched to his mother who lay impaled a few feet away from him, both with looks of horror on their faces eyes wide open and pleading.
Shuddering he rolled over and got up going to get himself a drink of water.
