Sharing one's Power

[Alex]

Rested lightly against Erebus, looking around at the other parts and nods. "Yes and I have you to thank for that" He couldn't recall a happier time till before he met Erebus which was odd but he didn't seem to focus on their surrounds much, he was thinking over the day the had together and smiled.

Ducking as they left the gates he made sure that Alex would not hit his head. Wondering around the car park for a while he laughed at himself having forgotten when he had parked the truck.
But eventually he found it.
Putting Alex in the seat beside him he climbed over starting the vehicle up. Flicking on the radio he took one last look around before easing the car back off and onto the roads for the long journey home.

[Alex]

Snickered softly. "Old man forgot where he parked his own car" He relaxed once they were moing, Staring out the window, watching the lines on the road, not sure why he suddenly felt so tired, usually he was used to not sleeping. "Did you?"

"Course" he was also tired so he didn't force a conversation wanting Alex to feel as though he could fall asleep if he needed to, the journey would take just under two hours.
Tapping the steering wheel he watched the road, the closer he got to home the more his attituse changed a dark feeling settling over him as it had done since he had come to these lands.

Watched the road and then looked over to him. He could feel the change in him the closer they got as he curled up slightly. "So dark, can feel it like a suffercating knife" He drifted off to sleep, the movement of the truck helping put him to sleep.

He glanced over at Alex as he spoke, he didn't mean for him to feel such things but there was only so much of himself that he could possibly fend off from the kid feeling.
His eyes were only off the road for a second but when he looked back up a figure stood in the middle of the road. Slamming on the breaks to avoid it the car slid fish tailing across the tarmac straight towards it.
In the last split second before the truck completely flipped Erebus made eye contact with it before their sight was broken, the truck rolling over twice before sliding off into a road sign still half across the busy road. Other cars skidding to avoid hitting it.

Alex woke when he felt something wrong from Erebus only to wake to find the car two seconds from flipping, he cringed ever so slightly but a massive powerful golden colored light escaped from him, his hands rested over his head as his body was curled into a ball out of old habit, the light blinding but keeping both himself and Erebus from getting hurt at all within the now wreck of a car.

Flinching he braced himself for impact only to recieve nothing more then a jolt, with thanks to Alex.
Taking a second to register and regain a little composure he looked at the boy and started to undo himself from the seat belt.
"God.. you ok? You alright?" he twisted to see him "Alex?"
Falling againstthe roof as he free'd himself he set about undoing his adoptive son from the seat without dropping him.
"I'm so sorry" he could hear foot steps of those concerned running towards the car.

Coiled out of the ball slowly and stared up at Erebus, his eyes were a golden yellow as he reached out to him, he needed closer contact now, he nodded slightly, he didn't want anyone but Erebus, clinging to him and shook. "What.. Happened"

Getting Alex uncurled from the chair he pulled him to his chest keeping a few seconds between them he remained inside the car sitting upon the up turned roof.
"I dunno, there was something in the road"
He turned to look out of the window, a black shadow vanishing as fast as is had come.
He could hear the approach of sirens, people knocking against the windows then opening the doors asking them multiple questions about their well being. He nodded not answering and handed Alex over to a concerned woman as he was unable to climb out while holding him.

Flinches and struggled against the lady, he bit harlshy on the woman's arm in panic and broke free, it was then that he looked at the truck and just stared at it, the damage done to it yet none to either him or Erebus, he sat and wrapped his arms around his knees, swiping at anyone who came near unless it was Erebus.

Climbing out of the car he rolled his neck, people instantly trying to help them he shook his head and apologized to the woman whom Alex had bitten.
Kneeling down beside the boy he touched his hand to Alex's shoulder.
"The paramedic people are going to want to look at you, you have to let them or they won't let us let us leave"

[Alex]

Stared at the people and shakes his head. "No doctors, please no doctors daddy, they will try and cut me open again." His eyes lost the golden color becoming the usual mis matched eyes as he just sat there, he felt calmer with Erebus there but he didn't trust the gathering people.

"No, they won't I promise they will just check your pulse and the sound of your lungs" He sat down slumping to the road, the people around them sounded very far away from him, everything was starting to.
"I'm sorry Alex" he sighed knowing he should never have taken the kid into his life. Especially when the God's were looking for him, probably already knew where he was.

Stared at Erebus, he moved so he was resting with his head against his arm, letting the others check him out as his free hand held onto his. "Are you going to leave me?" He knew what Sorry usually meant in times like this more so in these kinda of lands, he had seen it several times.
