This, Christmas.... Sauri's favorite time of year. Though she wasn't sure anyone else besides Ajax knew that. She had toiled and spent much time preparing the party. A Christmas tree, trimmed with lights and ornaments ornate in detail and beauty. It was grand to see. Holly, garland, lights and the scent of pine and cinnamon all swept through the dining hall and main room of the house. There was something magical about this time of year that Sauri clung too. She couldn't hide the giddy part of her, that reveled in this season. There was a full banquet table set out with all kinds of fresh foods and snacks. One for every type of taste there was, a variety she was proud of.
Her mass of black curls was tied up with tinsel and glittering berets. Her make up light and festive she had sparkling holly leaves adorned to her left cheek just below her eye, with small little red berries in the center of the leaves. She smiled to herself, and gave a little squeak of joy as she prepared and decorated the manor for this, her favorite holiday. It had been the one time of year in all her life that soothed her, that she looked forward too.
Under the massive Christmas tree were presents wrapped in pretty paper and bows. There was at least one with everyone's name on it. Though she had to guess on what they might like, she hoped that the small peeks she got into their rooms when they had chosen them gave her some insight on their tastes and likes. Each door had been tagged with an announcement to the gathering. This, the season of giving, was one she cherished. Hoping to see everyone there, she hoped to meet the new comers, catch up with old friends, and be merry. She kept herself busy decorating as she waited for everyone to arrive.
