Since his stay at the coven he couldn't seem to settle, to find a place he felt he could call home, so he kept on the move, going from place to place.... but there was that itching to settle, to be somewhere special. He was at the battle with the coven at the ancients, and the last time he was seen he was trying to fend off three ancients form his sniping spot. No one knew he survival the assault because he had left just after the fighting had ended. There was always a price to pay for such a scale of death, his was what he faced himself with.
Going Home.
Where was home after so long? It certainly wasn't the places he had visited recently, nor was it his town of birth. He felt removed from the world, the events of politics and hostile takeovers didn't interest him as they once did.
He smirked to himself as he stepped off the boat, remembering when he dived in to the waters filled with corpses of the dead and the undead bodies of the near dead. How time had changed the feel of the old place. It was as if the event of the night had been erased from history. Before he knew it he found himself back in the coven grounds, in the gardens with his rifle in his hands, looking just like a stupid hunter that was brave enough to get close. Of course this was Mannix, he was no hunter these days.

Blink ventured past the borders of the mansion, taking in the grounds with cautious eyes and her hands hanging loosely at her side, fingers twitching inevitably with slight muscle spasms. Her fingers nearly formed a javelin out of instinct, as if she was going to be attacked and was preparing for the attack. Sucking in a breath she wandered closer, and stepped carefully through the maze that was the gardens. The flowers brought a smile to her face, and she bent down, paused to smell them before continuing further in.
After a few more turns she was brought closer to the house, and she paused at seeing the man with the gun, the same one she had run into at the forest. Taking a deep breath Blink approached him, fingers laced behind her back. "Fancy meeting you here."

Mannix turned his head to see who was approaching just before she spoke, as always wearing his typical old suit with the fedora hat and unfashionable sun glasses. He was a slim man, some would say too thin for their tastes but he never seemed to gain any form of weight, no fat. Thin yes, but also surprisingly strong and very agile. He nodded in greeting to Blink, but for a while didn't say anything.
Slipping that old modified rifle across his back thanks to the strap he placed his hands in ot his pockets before fully turning around, but always kept an ear out, and an eye out when he could spare one. "Evening"
