A small black leathery nose wiggled and moved at the end of her furren muzzle. Tiny whiskers picked up on the air around her, and her large ears listened intently to her surroundings. Her thick tail flicked behind her as tiny paws carried her over the ground toward the springs. Alert eyes ever vigilant Kalila moved toward the scent of water. A quick drink from the cold spring she moved toward the hot springs to rest. Her thick black fur held some of the steam that gathered on it from the hot springs and she shook it out gently. A lick to her muzzle and she looked around carefully. A whine and her body doubled over, as the fur began to fall away. Flawless pale skin emerged, save for the one massive scar on her left shoulder blade. Once fully changed she ran her fingers through her long silk hair. Tying it into a messy bun she looked around one more time, and then sank her form into the hot spring. The steam around her she closed her sky blue eyes and let out a deep breath, letting her body adjust to the temperature of the water her muscles began to relax slowly. It had been a very long journey, and she was in need of a rest.

"Ya know it's dangerous to be out here all alone" He had his eyes closed to respect the woman's privacy, a massive scythe strapped to his back, he looked to only been about nineteen. A grin played over his lips, hands rested partly into his pockets to show he was no threat. "More so a odd kinda shifter" He had been tracking her for a while now as he remained leaning against the tree. Moving only to fold his arms over his chest.

Startled she opened her eyes and turned to see who was standing there. All but her shoulders neck and head were submerged in the dark water. Bright electric eyes looked to the male who had spoken to her and she brushed a stray hair from her face. "I am on my way to a near coven I have heard about..are you from there?" She asked, by his appearance he couldn't be over twenty...but that meant nothing in this world. She relaxed a little at his body language. He meant her no harm. She sat back on the spot she had been but still faced him. "You can open your eyes." She said, and watched him. "Not many people can sneak up on me." She said with a slight smile, one of her sharp canines hung at the corner of her lip for a moment.

"Ive been tracking you since you showed into these lands you just didn't know I was there and yeah I know of it, what ya want with it?" He opened his eyes, exposing the dark red eye color, showing he was in his hollow body rather then real one, he ran a hand through his hair, a smirk showed, in his hollow shadow form his eyes were red yet his real eyes were blue, watching her for a few moments, He was more child like them most would be more so from where he came from.

Raising a thin brow she looked at him. "That's sneaky of you." She teased, and settled back against the rocks again. The dark water steamed around her and she took a deep breath. His red eyes were slightly unsettling. She had seen creatures with them before, and none of them ever ended up being friendly to her. When he asked her what she wanted with the Coven she spoke again. "I was hoping to stay a while, and maybe settle down for once...I haven't exactly been accepted anywhere else." she said, and thought of the scar along her shoulder blade. "I heard that this place was more accepting, so I started my journey here. Though I am sure you have better things to do then listen to me babble." She said and closed her eyes, her social skills weren't the greatest...having lived alone her entire life she never needed them. Though there was something missing for her...and she hoped to find it here.

"I have nothing better to do, I'm not even really here. Well to put it lightly I'm a shadow copy, hence the red eyes, my usual ones are blue, ya heading in the right way but watch out for those who tread there, not all are as friendly, more so if ya run into Fangman" He snickered under his breath and stretched out, moving to sit cross legged. "I'm Taz by the way"

Her eyes re-opened and she looked at him. "A shadow copy? Interesting." She said, and watched as he sat down to talk to her. "Yay! Now I won't be so alone." she thought to herself, and listened to him speak about the Coven. A slight look of disappointment came across her features and she sighed softly. "I will be sure to steer clear of the not so friendly ones.." she said, and wondered who this FangMan was... when he said his name she smiled and looked back at him. "I'm Kalila." she said, and wiggled her fingers out of the water in a small sort of wave. "Your eyes are normally blue? Well you can bring your body here, I am not going to hurt you." she said, and her fingers disappeared. "What is the coven like?"

"No I can't ya see, thanks to Fangman, My body is sitting in a damn cell awaiting either death or imprisonment, still think your so called coven is such a great place?" A cold smirk showed before he rested back and closed his eyes, lost in his own thoughts. "I am stuck wondering around in this form till I can get free, unable to touch, eat nor feel, unable to do anything but haunt this place, it's annoying" He wasn't the least bit happy about being in a cage.

A soft frown and she looked at him through confused eyes. "Why are you awaiting such a fate?" She asked, and tilted her head a little. This did not sound like the place she had heard about and that disturbed her. Was she mistaken in making the long journey? Would they turn her away? All of these questions burned in her mind and she took a deep breath. " Do you want me to free your body?" she asked, quite seriously. She was cunning and sly...and often made grand escapes from places that normal people couldn't venture into.

"Don't be foolish, ya talking about talking on the coven master here, ya got no chance in hell of setting me free, just leave that to me" He winked and grinned more to himself. "I have my own reasons for why I am stuck there, don't worry yourself over them fluffy, I will set myself free, I always do" He now sat just before her above the lake's surface, watching her with a child like grin. "Besides, I like ya company so just relax a while and I will take ya to the coven soon, deal?"

A slight tilt to her head and she nodded softly. "So fang man is the Coven's master?" she said, more in thought then anything else. Her small brows furrowed slightly and she smiled then when he reassured her he could get out on his own. "Alright then." She said and looked up at him when he came just to the waters edge. Electric eyes looked at his red ones and she smiled again." Deal!" she said, and the water rippled slightly with her movement. "I like your company too." Kalila said with a warm expression. The heat of the water made her sigh again and she rested her head slightly on the rocks. "So, what did you do to get put into the cells?" she asked, hoping she wasn't over stepping any bounds.

"I am a hunter so it goes without saying, not to mention Fangman thought I was threating the coven" He moved so he was sitting beside her with his feet in the water, he was not used to hot water so it was something new to him even in his shadow form he could still feel the warmth as he rested with his hands behind his head. "Why do you wish to go there anyway, what's wrong with staying in the town or something?" He would answer any question she asked of him as best he could.

Kalila blinked lightly and looked up at him when he spoke. "A hunter of what?" she asked somewhat quietly, and took a deep breath from the water lulling her. A light shrug and she looked away a little. "I'm not familiar with the town, and I am not sure they would be so accepting. I have had bad experiences in other towns. She said, and looked back up at him. "I was hoping at the Coven they would be more accepting." She said and began to doubt slightly weather or not coming was a good idea. |

Grinned at her. "Yeah it's better then most places for accepting freaks like me so they will have a ball with you, it has many good people in it so you will be safe as well" He splashed her with the water in a playful manner, trying to cheer her up, she looked a little down casted and he was not really sure what else to do.

Smiling a little again she laughed when he splashed her with the water. Laughing lightly she nodded. "I hope there are. A ball with me?" she asked, and cocked her head slightly to the side. "What do you mean by that?" she asked curious now. Blinking big round eyes she wondered. Kalila was always curious and this time was no different. "Did they have a ball with you too?" she asked.
