Isolation

[Aleron]

Aleron said nothing to his words, was she that obvious? She knew she was, she was a vampire after all. His words sounded like they were familiar to himself and she wondered what he may have done in his past, everyone had their own skeletons hidden away somewhere.
His next words gave her the answer, so he had murdered people also, Aleron wasn't sure whether that fact comforted her or not, she suddenly became more weary of him but still remained the same in every other way. ''Thank you for doing this for me, you  really don't have to.'' Aleron had found herself lucky in company of late, the ones she had met had helped her in some way or another, she knew her luck would run out soon enough, something bad was bound to happen but the question was, was it going to be this night that her luck ran out?

  ''Daton, what are they like? The ones you are taking me to?'' There was an air of caution in her voice, his answer would be her decision maker as to whether she bolted or continued on to meet them.
 

[Daton]

The question placed a clear smirk on Daton's face, only the hood he was wearing covered that up mostly. "Sauri would welcome anyone with open hands, but if someone threaten her home she wont think twice about putting them to the sword" He explained, still quiet but also reassuring "Ajax will also welcome anyone but he is quieter, I would say weary of new people and will keep an eye on them"

Next came a short sigh, not at the conversation but because of the reasons for the reasons the coven had been closed down before, it had ot be explained. "the ancients, in my opinion a bunch of toffee nosed plumb eating vampires didn't like the twins making their own little group so they attacked.... there was so many lives lost, my sanity with it when I was kidnapped and subjected to.... stuff"

His voice grew extremely cold at the end of his explanation, even a fist clenching but after a deep breath he seemed to calm down. That night was still a sore point for him because for him it wasn't just one night it was weeks going months.

[Aleron]

Aleron glanced to Daton and was sure she saw him smile, she blinked before returning her gaze forward once more and listened to his words, she felt a relief fill her stomach, she trusted what he said, he didn't seem like the type to lie and if he was going to harm her then he would have done it already.
She tried to picture what Sauri and Ajax might look like but failed, all she could picture when she thought of another vampire was the red eyes of Frederick and the evil that seemed to radiate from him.

Aleron listened with open ears to what Daton said next, she cringed as he spoke of the war that had happened here but more for him saying that he had been kidnapped, she could only imagine what he had been through and even then it probably wouldn't come close to what he had suffered.
She noticed the fist clenched at his side, but he seemed to have his emotions under control for the most part. Aleron found herself stepping closer to him and she took the plunge and slotted her arm in between his own, not so much to help him, he clearly didn't need the help, but in her own way it was a simple gesture to offer him some comfort from his destructive thoughts. Whether he would accept her arm, she did not know. ''So they were making their own group.. why?'' She knew nothing of ancients and covens in general, she was an amateur with all of it.

[Daton]

"I doubt there was much of a reason, like all of us it is somewhere to call home" He said with a shrug as he picked out another apple from his pocket.... he did like his apples it appeared, well, he was human after all. "There are many people that come and go and keep in contact, each as interesting as the last...... and a giant kitchen with a nice easy to find tea pot"

In the distance the manor grew closer and closer, a giant building with vast gardens, a near by woodland. Anyone could find a place there, heck if he could it was certain anyone could. "When I grew up my abilities were uncontrollable a young boy with no sight seeing things he shouldn't be able to see was a disturbing thing, but if I could get to grips with it I'm sure you can with your new life"

[Aleron]

Aleron nodded to herself at his words, she could see that he called this place home himself. A small smile crossed her lips as he pulled out another apple, perhaps he had his own orchard in the depths of his pockets, that thought made her smile reach her eyes.
''Well that's always a plus, I do like my tea.'' She laughed softly, she seemed to be able to still consume human food and drink and she was glad about that, tea was always a favourite of hers, perhaps she would have suited being born English rather than French.

Aleron looked up to see the shadow of the manor in the distance, it looked a huge place, intimidating but also adventurous, she noted the nature surrounding it and knew if she was accepted here she would spend much of her time awake out in the gardens and exploring the woodlands.
She turned her head to listen to him and her brows knitted together as she thought about what he had meant, ''I will do my best, I must admit I am enjoying my new found abilities.'' She found her increased senses, strength and speed to be wondrous things, not to mention her electrokinesis.
She sighed to herself, knowing again that she had no right to pry but her curiosity got the better of her, ''What things do you see?''

[Ajax Matashina]

He had been stepping out for some fresh air when the scent of Daton with someone he did not recognize registered a frown crossed his face his metallic eyes growing more alert as his head turned side on to the direction they were coming in from. He strained to listen he could hear voices but not the words, they seemed calm and talkative so he relaxed but only a fraction. Trouble had come to them before in the guise of friendship.
Crossing the grounds he didn't waste any more time his steps set into a long stride which would allow him to move with more speed but not make himself look overly aggressive in his movements towards the two and soon he had them within his eye line.

A woman, to his nose she seemed to be a vampire and a new one, she stunk of guilt and fear but he ignored it stopping so they would have to cross the rest of the distance to come to him.
"Hello Daton, who is this?"

[Daton]

Daton hadn't expected Ajax to arrive just yet. He knew that Ajax would have turned up at one point or another before they to to the manor but not this quickly, which prompted the question of why he was there in the first place, but that wouldn't be asked by Daton. As Ajax was now with them, Aleron's question went answered because a more important one came up fro Ajax himself.

"This is Aleron who has been sleeping in the ranch having fled France for reasons which I'm not surprised by" He explained without giving the reason for getting out of France in a hurry, popping a slice of apple in to his mouth "She seeks a home, like most of us did or still do, so after hearing of rumors about twins making a home for everyone she came looking for you"

[Aleron]

Aleron's gaze was distracted by a male approaching, he walked in somewhat of a hurry but not enough for Aleron to think he was about to attack them or something.
She visibly tensed up even when he stopped and called out to Daton, she assumed that he was one of the twins. Daton spoke for her and she nodded her head but was polite enough to also speak to him directly herself, ''Yes, he speaks the truth. I am newly turned, I did not know where to go or what to do but have been directed here.'' She glanced to Daton a little unsure but blinked before turning and walking to close the gap between the new man and herself.

She stopped before him, leaving enough of a gap for them to each keep their own personal space, ''Are you the one called Fangman?'' Taz had told her to find him, she guessed that this was him, she did not know however that Fangman was not his real name.

[Ajax Matashina]

He listened to the explanation from Daton and he nodded "Thank you Daton" his eyes moved from the boy to the female who had now also spoken up only to move towards him. He watched ready for anything to happen but he did not feel a threat from her in fact she was the one who probably felt threatened.
"Fangman?" his lips twitched slightly at the name he had been called it before by the annoyance he kept holed up in his basement and he figured that they had spoken to one another, he wondered what she would think of Ajax keeping him captive.
"My name is Ajax Matashina, not fang man but yes I am the one you seek. You wish for a place to stay?"

[Daton]

The mention of the name 'FangMan' made Daton turn away from Ajax as the young Human tried to keep himself from laughing, the name tickling his funny bone in a big way and he very nearly burst in to laughter. Only when he had regained his self control did he calm down, but not say anything further at this moment in time, there was very little for him to say as the conversation was between the other two, and it seemed ot be going quite well so far.

So he listened, which had been one of his extremely strong points in his personality, not much of a talker but one hell of a listener.

[Aleron]

Aleron kept her eyes on Ajax until she turned to see Daton turn away as though what she had said was amusing, she smiled to herself, it was obviously a nickname from Taz, ''Apologies, Ajax. And if there is a room going then yes, I would like to stay, to learn.'' Aleron hoped that this Ajax might be able to help her as everyone seemed to believe.
  She licked her lips thinking that a room would not just be given to her for free, perhaps she could find a job in the city or do some work around here, maybe in the ranch.
  ''I have no money but I can work for my stay, wherever you need help I will do my best.'' 

[Ajax Matashina]

"I do not need money" he replied with out a thought, he had never and would never accept any form of monetary gifts from those that stayed with in his walls. Ajax had many years to amass his wealth and he had done it wisely he never had to worry about such things it was the most stable part of his life.
"Work if you wish to work, I will accept no money from you, Nor will Sauri"

Looking to Daton who seemed to be calmer his eyes softened slightly having enjoyed seeing the boy take happiness from something even thought it was fleeting.
He turned away from them and began to walk his hand curling in an invite for them to follow him back towards the coven and the females new home, he would keep an eye on her but sensed nothing wrong with the situation.
"You may have a room either next door or down the hall from Daton, he can help you choose if he so wishes"

[Daton]

"Sure thing....FangMan" Daton said as he pulled down his hood once again, quite enjoying the cool breeze on the visible sections of his face, but the young man did need a hair cut, his hair getting a bit too long which was to be expected when one can not look in a mirror. His features held a smirk after his playful little jibe at Ajax, but there was no venom in his words, it was just his normal voice. It was extremely rare for him to get angry.... ut there were still the night terrors to worry about.

[Aleron]

Aleron nodded but she would still try to do her fair share, if it was money he did not want them maybe she could repay him by working around the place and helping where she could, she was fed up of people giving her free hand outs, she did not deserve it.
A small smile curved her lip at the amused tone from Daton, next time she saw Taz she planned on hitting him for telling her that Fangman was his name. She quickly squashed that smile however and had to turn away slightly, the last thing she wanted was to offend Ajax in any way and so she had to bite down on her tongue to stop, her nerves mixed with various other emotions were threatening to send her into either a laughing fit or a full blown meltdown.

She ran her hand over her face briefly in slight frustration at herself before trying to change the subject, ''Ajax, I have learnt that many vampires have different abilities, I have found that I have one, electrokinesis but my friend assures me that another thing that has been bugging me is a connection that we all have with the ones who changed us, is this true? I can't help but feel it is more than that, I can sense him, I can see where he is in the world with my eyes, like a homing beacon.'' It was something that had been on her mind of late, every time she had thought about Frederick she could feel exactly where he was.

[Ajax Matashina]

He didn't respond as Daton poked fun at him and he took it for what it was. Not many people understood Ajax but the longer they had known him for some of them knew he did have a good sense of humor though it was often buried under the burden he carried upon his shoulders.

It would only take them a short time to reach the coven Ajax had let them get close enough before he had come out to stop them getting any further, he wondered where Sauri had gotten to, he figured maybe she might have been meeting some others that wished to enter the coven he knew some more new people would come now the doors had opened.
The female seemed uncertain, he could tell she was fresh but she seemed very fresh with her questions obviously she had not had a mentor of any kind.
