The coven was coming along nicely, and Sauri needed to stretch her fingers. Nearly elbow deep in the soil she tended her gardens. Weeding, churning the soil..nourishing the plants with natural fertilizers and foods. She sang to her plants as she tended to their every need. Starting at the back of the garden she slowly worked her way forward. The snow drops taking extra care she made sure to rid their beds of every weed and ill colored speck. A smile and she swiped her hand across her forehead, smearing dirt on her face. Her long ebony hair in a messy bun she moved to the next flower bed. Taking the same tender care on each one. Her bucket beside her she put all the weeds and trimmings into it for compost. She wasted nothing.
The plants seemed to come to life when she would be near, caring for them and singing as she did. This was where she found peace, and solace. Tending her flower gardens. She moved from each flower bed once they were spotless and weed free. They were immaculate. Her roses, came last. They were her pride and joy. Sauri moved her hands over the plants and sang a gentle tune to them. They opened, and came to life with almost a sighing sound. She touched each plant with tender fingers. Covered in dirt and dew. She smiled, and plucked the dead blooms to bury for nourishment. Sauri took great care to turn the mulch and weed the beds as she moved through the thorns and stalks of the rose garden. She emersed herself in her work, everything else fell away as she tended her plants.

A hell of a long time had passed since either Sauri or Caine had set foot back on Matashina land and now the Dimitru's had established a house near enough to the rebuilt Matashina Coven. Caine himself had been worse for wear as of late now sporting more scars alike Vaughan and Nathaniel from their battles with Romal. Sauri and Caine had gone through so much prior to him making a decision to go with his brothers, asking her to remain where she was while he helped to save his own brother from their fathers clutches. Luckily Sauri had agreed despite her own feelings and he was able to worry a little less knowing that she would be safe. Upon hearing Vaughan had made a purchase not far from his fiance's home, Caine felt happier with the prospect that his family had grounded themselves near his future. At least in the later portion of the brother's travels, Vaughan had helped Caine to try and control his abilities which seemed to be spiralling out of control.
Rolling his bike into its old place outside the Matashina coven, Caine took a walk across the ground. He took a few moments to absorb the mixed scent of the place, though one stuck out with its irreplaceable spot in his heart. Passing through the archways of the gardens Caines eyes sought out its source, eventually slowing as he took a step into the next portion of garden beds and a small smile alighted his face. "I thought i might find you here" he murmured

Concentration shown on her face as she labored over her gardens with great care. The roses seemed to come to life, aware as it were of her presence once more among them. This was her solace, her place of peace. A familiar feeling came over her and she paused. A scent that sent her heart racing filled her nose. Her ring was around her neck so she wouldn't get it dirty. Her breath shortened and her adrenaline raced through her. She knew that feeling and it was one she had ached for.
Slowly she stood up, all grace and easy motion. Dark eyes lit as he spoke to her and she couldn't help but smile. A turn and she faced him. "Caine." She said, her voice pure silk and silver as it drifted from her lips. In a flash she was against him with her arms wrapped around him. The embrace would have crushed a normal person, but he was no ordinary being. "I have missed you so." She said softly. Her form clung to his as if afraid he were only a dream.

The sight of his beloved in such a happy place sent a small warmth across his chest, the scene of Sauri amongst such beauty and that of her own something of which Caine had not seen for almost two years. After the fall of the coven house, the virus and their enslavement he had been so worried about losing her, not to death or someone else but he own depression. To see the glint in her eyes and the smile on her face had been a saving grace in itself.
"I'm sorry i took so long to get back here, I've missed you more then you know" he murmured as he tucked the top of her head against his chin, pulling back to kiss the top of her head and take in the smell of her hair, the fresh clean scent of one harmonious Sauri Matashina.
"Have you been out here long?" he enquired

The marks along her neck had all but vanished completely. She was back to her old self, happy to be home..with her brother, the coven..and her beloved. She held onto him with an easier grasp now that she knew he was truly real and not a figment of her wishful imagination. "I have missed you so Caine. It doesn't matter, you are here now." She said, and then smiles as her eyes closed a little. A smile and she looked up at him when he asked her if she had been out there long. "The garden was in desperate need of love and care. I have been for a few hours, bringing it back to life." She said happily. "I am so glad you are here." she nearly purred as she spoke.
