Azrae had finally cleaned up and found a stash of her old clothes, she had always liked high places and found herself standing watch atop one of the high towers of the coven. Onyx wisps billowed out from beneath the hood of her sweater and her hands were stuck into her pockets, the cold touched her cheeks and mingled with the electric blue glow cast from her eyes beneath the thick lashes. She preferred to be alone after such an arduous escape from the pits of Noxemgrid. The flashes of that night still played themselves in her mind, and she often saw the monsters lurking in the shadows; giving her a static migraine that made the lights flicker in her room because they annoyed her.
For the first few nights she had twisted and turned in her sleep, curled up in a ball or stretched out as if she were being electrocuted with her muscles taut. Blood seeped out of her eyes and cracks marred her shell, the room was stifling tonight like it had been many other nights. There were demons the woman had to deal with, which was why she was withstanding the cold out here in the dark, staring out towards the city. Her eyes avoided the woods, for within them rested a monster she was not ready to face, an empty house that she would no doubt have to enter and eventually burn down. Another brief flicker of memory, bloody faces and screams filled eyes and ears, seeping into memory.
She closed her eyes and clamped both hands over her ears, as if that could make the noise go away, keep it out of her skull. She was losing her mind and it had only been a week since she’d crawled out of the pit. Lightning split the sky, summoned by the vampiress in all of her mental instability. Thunder roared with unnatural ease and clouds roiled in to collect over the lands, bellowing the laughter of a child she’d never see again. For the first time in little less than a year she allowed herself to whisper the forbidden. “Micah.”

Emerald hues a mere glow in the darkness, being shatter by a glimpse of light and a unnatural boom of thunder pulled a squeak like sound from her throat and a quick scuttle placed the strange woman above in sight and Lena ducked behind the closet tree and titled her head sideways and watched from a rather safe distance, not wanting disturb the female.
Selena finally pulled her gaze away from the woman above and went to step back and leave not wanting to be rude but a clumsy misstep had her crashing down onto the ground with a thud.

Azrae's eyes flickered swiftly towards the source of the presence and the sound it made, her nose had picked up on the scent way before the creature had made a fool of itself. Yet she was reluctant to leave her solitude and the peace it provided, she was by no means a hunter of the coven or even the slight muscle the others provided but she still had a duty to protect the homestead. Climbing onto the outcropping ledge she stared down at the bumbling creature. It was like a little elephant, loud and particularly clumsy.
Jumping off the roof and onto the ground Azrae closed the distance with a single step, the inertia made her organs feel like they were out of her body for a few moments and a dizziness caused Azrae to sway on her feet. Though she quickly shook that off and looked down at the woman through glowing blue eyes. "It's rude to spy. Give me one good reason why I shouldn't break your neck."

Emerald hues widen in utter fear and she scuttled back quickly from the woman and flipped onto her feet "I......I......Did not mean to be rude, or disturb you.....I was just curious" pitching her bottom lip between pointed fangs and a timid glimpse fell between the ground and the woman.
Clutching both hands down in front and arched herself down into a apologetic bow "Really am sorry, Miss" the crimson colored tail fell free and swayed from side to side, as feet shuffled gently at ground.

Bringing a hand to pinch the bridge of her nose Azrae sighed in the effort to rid herself of the tension headache. Her eyes closed and she tipped her head back before waving a hand dismissively at the woman's actions. "Forget it, I'm not Xiomara your bowing and polite speech isn't going to get you anywhere with me. So just tell me why you're lurking around the grounds?"

" Well I heard a rumor that there was a place that creatures live and are safe, so I went exploring to see if rumor had truth" a hurry of words spilled out from her lips and the sway in her crimson tail increased at the tension that grew tightly within her muscles "And that is why I came here, but honestly didn't mean to intrude on you"

Azrae's eyes shifted towards the tail and she shoved her hands into her pockets with visible effort to control herself. Her patience was very thin especially since she returned from Hell and this timid behavior was not helping the urge to rip things apart. In fact it made them more insistent. "This is the place. If you're planning on staying here though you need to talk to Sauri and Ajax. I'll show you along the grounds. Follow me." Turning on her heel without waiting to see if the woman followed she rounded the outer wall.

My senses are my new worst enemy, joy. Cerverous thought rather dryly to himself as he stepped very slowly, and very barefoot, around outside. The chill was biting already but his extremely overpowered senses, and the fact he wore only a black pair of jeans turned it into a raging blizzard. 'Training' he had called it when the idea came to him 'you'll feel better once the fruits come to you. Yeah, well, it fucking sucks anyway. I can't believe I thought this was a good idea. The sound came to him in a rage, setting a ringing to his ears and coaxing a quiet 'fuck' from him. A mane of long night-black hair collided gently into the back of his feet when they stopped their advance through the snow. He stood, toes clawing at the cold powder, brain working in overtime trying to make sense of the conversation through his utter over receiving. He even went so far as to attempt finding the... two, involved with his sixth but it proved pointless. He resolved to wait and see where things went between the two others and was rewarded with one trotting briskly in his direction. Lucky me. And so he stood, and waited, bangs so thick and long they covered more than half his face, save for the point of his nose, chin and a friendly smile.

(I'm going to go ahead and post without Selena because we've waited enough.)
Azrae wasn't sure what she wanted to do with the girl, she just wanted to get inside and dump her on someone else. It was Sauri's and Ajax's explicit rules that they bring anyone new into their warm little household full of blood and death, it didn't matter what-so-ever to Azrae what the people who came went did on their own time. And she didn't like being a babysitter for anyone, or a tour guide. Let them find their own freakshow. But as she turned she could feel someone else up ahead and she rolled her eyes, grinding her teeth to bear with the fact that she might have to help someone else find their way around.
That wasn't to be the case, for up ahead stood the source of all trouble. Only he could bring damnation, salvation and sarcasm all rolled into one. Her lips curved up in a smile as she came closer to Cerverous, but she didn't say anything because he appeared to be debating something and in order to avoid his foul mouth, she just approached and let him go uninterrupted. Whether the girl followed or not would be her choice.

"All this time, and I don't even get a 'fuck you, asshole'?" It was not till she'd taken the step that brought her next to him, did he even recognize Azrae. I have alot of work to do. He turned his head ahead of his body as she passed, a single eye, ruby red with two thin black rings around the iris and a white cross all the way through trained in her general direction. It peaked out from behind his bangs like a beast staring through a hole in the wall. "I get the feeling we're not friends anymore" The smile had turned to a smirk, that very signature smirk that only those who can trade 'intelligent' retorts with him ever get to see. The other that he sensed had gone from his bubble of awareness so suddenly that he dismissed them as a trick played on him by his senses. I have ALOT of work to do.

Azrae stood in front of Cerverous with her head tilted to the side, something seemed different about her old friend; he was either not right, not himself or she was paranoid and bordering on crazy. All plausible reasons. Reaching out she brushed his hair aside and peered into his single ruby red eye, her own blazing that electric blue ever since she had been turned, the glow cast upon her cheeks unmistakable. She smiled, slowly at hearing his words and continued to hold his bangs at bay. "Don't be such an asshole, Cerverous. It's unbecoming. All of those years and you still haven't learned any manners."
Tilting her head the other way the lightning danced in her eyes, skewed by the slant of her head, as if it were falling out of the irises and spilled out to dance along her cheek. Though since the energy was at her command, it did not harm Cerverous in any way. The creature inside Cerverous was gone, she couldn't sense the cage she had built either, that appeared to have been destroyed long ago. Ah yes, she remembered that day, when Cerverous vanished because of the sudden implosion. "We were friends once? I don't remember that, I remember you getting on my nerves from the moment I met you, and the overwhelming urge to knock you on your ass for your cocky attitude." She smiled now, allowing his hair to fall back into place. She'd not embrace him, not with the way he currently looked and that off-putting smell. The one that told her something was wrong with him, and touch might just cause him injury. "Who did you piss off this time? And why, oh why, can't you behave yourself for once?"
