Crystal blue eyes drifted over to Ajax when he made his way over to the table where she was busy putting various foods on a plate. Long lashes caught the stern look that came from him and she threw him a mock pout as an apology for her careless time management. She could have said she was a typical woman but that would have been a far cry from the truth. "Hello love." She set the plate down so that she could lean over and kiss his cheek. Not wishing for anyone to be uncomfortable with any major display of affection the two might show.
Once her lips left his cheek she had to reposition the hair which sought out his touch. Any part of him for that matter. It was not picky as long as it touched him. The same she could have said for the roses along his body. Ever since their escape to the tropics both her hair, and she'd noticed, his roses had been increasingly active.

A grin and she watched Damien defile the small frail blonde near the fire place with grace and class. A small chuckle and she walked over to him. A demure hand slid softly around his shoulders as she walked between him and the now shaking blonde on the floor.
"Care for a Dance Damien? Show me some of your moves."
She smiled and looked at him with a playful expression. Her guard rarely came down anymore, and this was one of those rare moments.

Damien's eyes watched the Coven Mistress as she sauntered over to him. The look in her eyes told him that she was on a mission. She had been a little too late to catch him while he was feeding. Probably best since he was had a tendency to snap at anyone or anything who interrupted while he was eating. His fiery crimson eyes catching her playful expression after she had spoken. He'd always been fond of the Mistress. She had a way with members and may have been seen as weak. He knew otherwise. She was quite powerful if others took the time to know her.
Before, and even after the Goddess Hecate had not been in her body she was a strong woman. Inside and out. Even if she did not let on to the fact that she was so powerful. Never giving herself enough credit for the things she could do. There in was her flaw. The man rose up from his seat and took her hand.
"I believed I owed you a dance anyway, Sauri."
He brought the back of her hand to his lips, placing a gentle kiss there. It was more so a sign of respect for the leader. However the Oversight always had other intentions if he was permitted. This woman was heavily guarded by her brother and one other man though. Damien knew his boundaries with her and he took great pleasure in pushing his limits without getting into any serious harm. A little teasing was fine. Taking it beyond that point would mean a possible battle between three men.
While Damien chuckled at the idea it was not something he truly wanted to see. He moved her hand from his lips that might have lingered longer than the typical respectful kiss might have called for. Leading her to a part of the hall where a small quartet had been set up to play. It reminded him of the Titanic. This ship should not go down sinking any time soon. He mused to himself with a slight smirk. Passing by the various member until the two were on the dance floor.

his eyes scanned the room slowly, casually, matching everyone's blood signature with their physical appearance, and his body turned as needed. he was looking away from the master at the time he was addressed. before he turned to answer with a smile a flash, black as ebony, raced across his eyes and was gone. "of course Ajax. everything's peachy" his left hand raised slightly behind him at the same time, toward the table Ajax was on his way to, and a thin darkness caught hold of one the green apples upon it.
the apple shot low across the room, making much less of a spectacle as his entrance but one all the same, and into his opened hand. before the coven master could pass him fully he turned again and laid right hand casually on his shoulder "there is someone here that doesn't belong" he said, silent enough bring the sound only between the two of them, removing his hand "possibly a danger, but im still unsure. please go enjoy your evening"
he turned and strode away as soon as he finished, taking a large bite of the apple, and disappearing into the crowd.

Seductive lips curled into a dazzling smile when Damien stood to Greet her. raven locks deeper then the night sky framed her face and fell down her back in a classy updo.
she grinned when the kiss to her knuckles lingered and a soft chuckle left her. "It is not wise to owe me, Mr Sevar. My interest does not run cheap." She purred, then laughed again. She had always enjoyed his company, and relaxed more around him then most. she followed him to the dance floor and never did the smile leave her lips. She pushed back against the boundaries with him in playful banter. she knew he held back when it came to her, and she held a high respect for him.
"You look dashing this eve Damien."

As quickly as Daton arrived he stood up to leave, the blind seer weaved through the group surprisingly well, even grabbing an orange as she walked by the table, his hand ever so lightly rubbing across most of the table before heading to the door. At the door he paused for a few moments before pushing it open and stepping out of the room, he seemed to have a knack for stepping out of a gathering just before things got too lively, he was after all only human.

He leant his cheek towards Eve as she went to kiss his cheek the touch of her sending the vines moving beneath his shirt an odd sight for anyone who was not used to such a display from him, he had never had such things happen in public but now they had chosen her he had little way of controlling what they wished to do, he didn't want to anyway so the fact they reacted didn't bother him in the slightest. Watching Cev get some food he smirked the male would never be satisfied without his little games, it amused him. "Going somewhere Daton?" he called only for Daton to hear his mind half occupied with what Cev had said to him about someone within the room though he didn't act upon it.

Darcassan watched the young man leave but said nothing. No doubt the man had his own reasons for leaving. Looking to a few of the others, a few speaking amongst themselves as he watched the two dancing with a light chuckle before turning back to the window. Listening to things being sais as he studied the grounds outside. Watching in case something entered the grounds that shouldnt.

Alex arrived beside him without so much as a word his stomach knotted slightly at the thought that Alex might be angry with him for his leaving or that some how harm had come to the boy while he was away from the coven land. But then he looked at the boy and smiled glad that at least Alex had chosen to come and stand beside him instead of plain out ignoring him which would have been worse. "Hey son, you OK?" for now he hoped not to talk about things heavier then the night's events.

Daton would have answered, if he had heard properly, but he didn't, likely because he just didn't want to, but rather then just to somewhere else he leaned against the wall in the hall way, rubbing the back of his head and letting out a quiet sigh. He needed more time, but he knew that time wasn't on hi side.

While she was happy to be back for her visit and she was enjoying quietly watching everyone within the room Kenshu could not ignore the spirits which seemed to want to pester her about a darkness, something which she couldn't work out the meaning to. She had to leave the room soon after Daton, her worry for him over riding her want to stay. Soon following him she stopped on the wall across from him leaning against it until he would be ready to speak with her.

"I don't want to ruin everyone's fun" He finally said after what felt like ages of silence, when in truth it was only a few minutes. He knew Kenshu was there, he always knew where she was like she knew where he was or was going to "I never liked large groups and I'm not ready to be back in the fold here.... not ready" He may hold a few secrets to himself, but he often found Kenshu to be someone he could talk to about these matters, but continued to speak before she could say anything. "I'm going back to the inn... you have fun"

He grinned up at his father and lightly nodded. Leaning against the mans side and watched everything that was going on. "Glad you are back father" He didnt like the man leaving but understood and didnt hold anything against him. "Are you alright though" Though the bond was not there another had formed which allowed him to feel close to the male more then the others in the coven. Shivering slightly and remained close to his father at all times.

"This I know to be true, Sauri. But what you do not know about me is when I owe someone, I pay them back plus extra after interest."
As the band began to play a general song, he placed on hand along the small of her back, pulling her against him enough so that no one would come between them should they have an intimate conversation. The other hand, holding hers. Each turn he kept an eye on those around the two. Not wanting to be interrupted. It had been some time since he and the Mistress of the Coven could speak.
"I should say the same for you, Sauri. Things must be going well. It has been some time since I last saw your cheeks flushed with natural color. Something must be going right because when you smile your face lights up. Before, one could tell that you were drained."
The Oversight turned his head so that he could look at her when he spun brought her out away from his body, only to bring her back in back to their original starting point.

Her hair greedily wrapped itself around the vines that wished to mingle with the long strands. Crystal blue eyes turned to look at him and then at the strands that eagerly moved towards him. Her hair had grown in length since the tropics, meaning it could travel further to him without her needing to get forward. Each living strand that touched his flesh made her smile in delight, she could feel everything that he felt. It made a head massage wonderful when she was in the mood for it, even if it meant Ajax's hand would be trapped until she wished its release.
When he spoke to Daton, she went back to placing some of the raw meat and a few vegetables on her dish. She did prefer the raw over the cooked. But the occasional cooked meal was not a bad thing either. It did hold the flavors of spices and herbs. Yet it someone paid close enough attention, they could taste the same in raw meat. But instead of spices and herbs, it was what they fed on.
