Xiomara had worked hard for the construction of this greenhouse but had yet to set foot in it, having been busy with getting the appropriate seeds for certain poisonous plants to bloom within. It was the middle of the night, sometime around 3 a.m and she found herself unable to sleep as happened many other nights.
Cerverous had disappeared again, so sneaking into his room for a late night chat was out of the question. She also couldn't find Erebus anywhere and had given up after searching the woods for a while. Sitting on one of the few benches around the greenhouse she studied the cerulean flowers with the yellow star shaped shade along the inside of each petal before they reached the pollen. They were Forget Me Nots, and they brought back bittersweet memories of someone from long ago.
She shook the thoughts of the man with the tinsel colored hair, the man with the red eyes and a portion of her soul, and finally the dark color of Ari's skin; turning her gaze up at the full moon which looked greenish blue due to the tinting of the windows. "Blood on the moon and Forget Me Nots... Xio, you need to get out more."

Crazul crept through the darkness of the greenhouse, the darkness and the plants were comforting. Many things had happened to him since he had left the steeps and forests of Russia. The plants did not move, or alarm him, theres was a way he knew.
He thought back over the past few days, Ajax, who had brought him from the isolation he had always known. Alex, the young male, whom he had encountered in the forest, and a certain face kept coming back to mind, Xiomara, the female who had helped him so much.
He kept moving through the darkness, and froze when he heard a voice, it was saying something about Forget Me Nots, and he knew the voice, it was her, Xiomara. He moved through the leaves towards her, and stopped just behind a veil of leaves, watching her. Her pale white hair caught the light of the moon beautifully. Her moss green eyes looked the deepest, truest emerald, the ocean blue fleck showing like shining saphires. She took his breath away.

Sliding off the bench she knelt down in the plotting dirt and decided to keep her hands busy while thinking of a few things. Carefully she transferred the plants over, some of these got along with one another while others were best kept apart. "Someone is around, other." Xio nodded but didn't turn around, her mind on her task, lots of people wandered these lands and it hadn't occurred to her that it could be enemies. Turning to grab a set of gardening scissors she caught he finger on a thorn and flinched. "Ouch! Smooth Xio... You in thesadows, could you please get me a cloth?"
Her eyes glittered while they searched the darkness and her nose inhaled deeply to try and catch the scent of the one lurking about. Lips pressing together and nose scrunching slightly as she couldn't pull the scent apart from the smell of the flowers and plant life. "Maybe there is no one there and I'm being paranoid..." turning back to the flowers she noticed that tuey absorbed her blood and the exposed roots turned red with each droplet that hit them.

The smell of her blood reached his nose, and he inhaled its fragrance with a deep breath. He hesitated for a moment, after hearing her speak, then stepped forward. "Here, let me help you with that." He said, he slid a series of bone shards from his palm, forming a weave as they emerged. "This may feel a little weird, but it will protect the cut better then any bandage, and it is more absorbent then most cloth bandages as well." He said kneeling next to her, "Here, let me see it." He said. He was fighting his instinct to run, something about this woman was captivating to him.

"Oh, hey Crazul. What are you doing skulking around in my greenhouse?" She smiled as she realized who it was and held her hand out to him, noticing the bones that were coming out of his palm. It was very curious, the abilities he had; but she noticed his discomfort with something and immediately thought it to be her blood. "Sorry, I wasn't paying attention. I can take care of it myself if the smell upsets you. Sometimes I forget that I'm around vampires or other blood thirsty creatures. Kind of insensitive of me."
Her hand wouldn't be tugged away until he either allowed her to or declined her offer to take care of her wound herself. Instead she turned to look at the weave they formed, her brows knitting together as she studied their make up. "How do you do that?"

He shook his head at her words, "It is not the blood that makes me uncomfortable, it is the way I have lived my life, the survival instinct ingrained into me, that makes me uncomfortable. If not for the experiences of the past weeks, where i have learned to interact with others, i would not have been able to leave the shadows to help you." He held onto her hand as she tried to pull it away. "Besides, the smell of your blood, for some reason, does not so much as incite my thirst, as it seems to relax and calm me. Your scent, in fact, works to the same effect." He gently applied the bone bandage, and it wove itself together around her finger, staunching the flow of blood. "There, that will absorb any and all blood that flows from the wound. When it is healed, i will simply take it back, if you wish, or, allow it to merge with your own body, the choice will be yours. However, that will be once the cut is healed." He then released her hand and moved back, not sure if he should stay, he began to rise to leave.
