He smiled watching her weigh up her options silently, stretching his fingers out against the table he curled them his nails scraping the material as he did. "Well thats good, it will be lovely as the sun sets" he replied getting up he moved around the table to her extending his arm for her to lead the way. "Sure you want? We can go anywhere"

Eve turned her attention over to Ajax once again, something out of the corner of her eyes having caught her attention for a moment. A smile spread across her face and she nodded her head. "I'm sure Ajax. At least then if I get swept out to sea you might have a chance of catching me." She gave a wink and leaned against him a little as they took to the side streets to get to a section of the beach that was private, specifically set up for the two of them on their vacation.

He smirked wrapping his arm over her taking her hand within his he held it up to her chest as they walked his metallic eyes watching everything pass with a lazy view as he was fully enjoying their holiday break away, he tried not to think of the coven, of their trouble and just focus on relaxing so he could return a better more even headed leader. He even found himself humming a tune as they walked his eyes meeting the ocean as they walked, he had always loved the never ending vastness of it.

Eve's smile never wavered as they walked together towards the beach. A subtle purr within her throat sounding quietly of her pleasure of their time together. Never had they been able to spend this much time together without being interrupted by one thing or another. Within her mind, had he been able to read it, there were hidden thoughts of what they could do together once past the eyes on the mortals who resided here. Or what they could even do when the mortals went to rest. Perhaps that trouble should be saved for the last night they were there.
For now she was thinking about what she could do to trap him with her. The sounds that would come from the two of them made her bite her lip in thought. Her crystal clear blue eyes glancing up at him before turning their attention towards the ocean. It made her bite her lip for another reason. The ocean. One of many fears that she had kept hidden away. She tried not to tense up but it was something that was inevitable when being so close to this body of water. A pool was one thing. A river and lake she could deal with, depending on the size, but the ocean was far beyond what she could deal with.

Looking out at the water he was well aware what it meant that Eve had come to such a place with him. He didn't fully understand her fear of it but he knew well enough that being near it was some form of torture to her, he knew they would not spend long on the beach but the fact that she had put enough trust into him to come with him to such a place for his sheer enjoyment of it meant more then he could describe or put into words, it proved her undying love and faithfulness that she would put her fears in his hands in such a way.
As he though of such things his grip tightened around her in his way of telling her that nothing bad would come of their walk by the sea, that he would not let anything happen to her while they were together in such a place, he would always do his up most to protect her and shield her from harm, to his dying breath. Looking to her he smiled walking diagonally along the sand further away from the water's edge but still close enough so he could continue to enjoy it but put her at ease. Pausing by the mouth of the beach he leaned forward pulling her around to pace him whilst he drew her close his lips firmly planting against hers in his claim upon her. "One day I will make you a husband, I promise" his whispered as their lips parted.

She closed her eyes and leaned against him. Ignoring her heart as it beat rapidly within her ribcage. Having him to lean against kept her steady, inside and out. The tightening of his hand around hers reminded her, silently, that he was there for her and he would protect her from this secret evil. It was a fear that she could not put words to the reason why. She was a powerful swimmer but there was something very specific about the sea that unsettled her normally solid soul.
When he stopped suddenly she blinked open her eyes and looked up at him. The urging of his pull of her made her smile and chuckle at the same time as she was brought forward and around so that her chest was touching his. Giving a happy sound when their lips met. His words rang loudly in her head and it caught her by surprise. He would make her a husband? Perhaps he meant he would want to become her husband one day. She'd not correct him, knowing what he did mean by that statement. "I would not want you to rush into anything you are not ready for. If this is what I can get from our time together than I am more than happy to have this because I still know that you will not be leaving me."

He watched her as she replied to him his hand going up to rest on the side of her face whilst he held her still against him his rose vines had now wrapped around her hair which as always had searched him out. His thumb rubbing gently across her jaw line he smiled. "I have given myself to you. That for me is for as long as I live or as long as you will have me, there is nothing to rush with forever" he kissed her before starting to walk keeping his arm around her now his body between her and the waves. "When would you like to go home?"
