"no they don't, they just need some time to mourn" Caine replied with honesty. his brothers had an unusual way of making their grief something of violence and horror but he wouldn't let Vaughan take it out on Sauri even if it meant stepping in the way.
"We will take a small bus out to the estate and spend the night before the ceremony at dawn" he advised her, sounding somewhat authoritative despite his lack of confidence that things would go according to plan.

"i miss you" Vaughan murmured amid taking a sip of his drink. he would never have normally spoken to her on the subject though lately he had begun to become more outspoken in his opinion. He glanced at her while his hand traveled from his glass to her hand

His hand on her's sent something similar to a bolt of lightning right through her, enough so that it registered upon her face her eyes changing colour in a split second growing a little lighter.
Looking down at the two hands she knew this was all she wanted but couldn't help thinking it was not what Vaughan wanted not anymore. He was just in grief.
"Miss you every second of every long day"
She pulled her hand away and got up.
"Isn't it time to go? Nathaniel will have to run and keep up"

For a moment he felt that perhaps he had made one turn away too many, that really going back would solve all of the worlds problems in a nutshell. It wasnt until she pulled her hand away that his expression changed to one of frustration. It hurt to feel so seperate from her and it took all the strength within him to continue with the change of subject.
"yeah the bus will be here, im pretty sure his plane touched down so he'll be around here somewhere" he murmered tempted to pull her away somewhere private

She nodded standing beside him, it hurt more then she could explain to be that close to him but it also felt good being near him close to his protective gaze she missed curling up with him and wishing away the world together.
"Do you think he got lost?"
She glanced at the other two to see if they were going to come to the bus with them.

From where he sat with Asha, Criston watched both Caine and Vaughan. observing the fractures drawn between the boys and partners he gave a small sigh. Asha had fallen asleep in his arms, stirring only when he nudged her awake to move. Picking up the hand luggage and placing it onto the large trolley he took charge of what was there, gesturing for the others to make a move for the bus rink.

"no, hes probably stopped to do something stupid" Vaughan shrugged, noting criston standing to move with Asha. he didnt bother to signal Caine, leaving Criston to make sure everyone was organised. He glanced at kenshu before stepping off, preffering to simmer in his own emotions then let her have knowledge of them

She nodded and walked beside him walking over towards Criston she gave him a quick hug then Asha one, avoiding touching their skin as she did so.
She didn't say anything and just went to walk along side Vaughan as they moved towards the shuttle bus.

Caine watched the others head off for the bus, overhearing Vaughans comment on Nathaniel.
"C'mon, we are leaving" he spoke to Sauri, holding out his hand for her to take.
(HEY ALL! - i figured you'd probably like to time skip the bus trip??? start off from when the bus arrives at the Dimitru estate?...)

when the bus stopped, Vaughan was the first to exit perhaps moreso to get air from the others. He slowed when he exited however since the estate had not been before him in such a long time. it looked as grand as ever, as though time had not stained its walls since the brothers had left. At the entrance Malice and Tempest stood guard.

Nathaniel had barely made the bus before it left the airport, though in many ways he had wished he had missed it. there was way to much tension in the air between everyone present, and oddly enough the appearance of criston was more comforting. when the bus stopped he let Vaughan leave first, glad to be away from their eldest after he had seemed to adopt his old attitude

Getting off of the bus Kenshu looked quickly to Nathaniel, she hadnt said hello to him yet so she walked over placing space between Vaughan and herself for a moment giving Nathan a quick hug the two getting on much better in the past few years then they had done to start with.
"Hey.."
Smiling a little she moved back to Vaughan not talking but being close in case he wanted something of her.

Her hand slipped into his and she nodded. When they arrived at the estate she looked at Caine, and then to the others. With a soft breath she looked up, and narrowed her eyes softly. She knew this wasn't forever, that she had a job to do. She would be there for the brothers...and repay the tradgedy given.

Vaughan didnt enter the estate building, instead heading to the gardens with no intention of being stopped. he had his own mind to deal with, and did not want to spend time with idle chatter.

As Vaughan seperated himself from the group Kenshu watched after him a little torn for a few minutes but then she decided against following him, if he had wanted her to he would have said so.
Closing off again she wrapped frail arms about herself and moved across to the others waiting for Criston to say something.

I am so happy to see that
