After receiving no answer from Ajax, Siebelink had simply excused herself without much of a fuss. Due to her history in isolation she had only ever been able to speak to one man and one alone. Not fearing solitude she moved to the complex of condos that Vaughan had mentioned staying at, not wanting to impose or smother him with her presence she had pawned off a bracelet that would help cover for at least six months of rent and moved into a an empty space of her own. Erebus had also offered her a place to stay, but that too would have been imposing and she felt something heavy weighing in his heart..
Standing in the vast expanse of empty room, Siebelink allowed herself to feel a few moments of melancholy. The door to her place had been left open knowing that none could cross the threshold without being granted access. Sunlight from the setting sun filtered through the curtains, brushing them aside with long tapered fingers she stood enveloped in a silent loss that hardly let the sun touch and warm her skin; frozen in time just as much as she was frozen in place. "It is like old times, only you will not come for me again, my Leslat. How cruel the Fates, giving me a moment of life in time only to leave me alone again."

Carrying a now empty bag which was slung over his shoulder Erebus had been in the complex dropping off some items Vaughan would most probably need once he had gotten back from burying his brother in Romania. Slowing down he noticed a door was open, right down the bottom of the hall on the opposite side. Glancing in as he walked passed he frowned before turning back around and walking back to it a knuckle wrap sounding as he knocked on the door frame.
"Hey... you ok in there?"

The moments of mourning had passed and it was now that Siebelink turned toward the entrance with dry eyes.If there had been no one to witness it would have been for the best, Erebus had however stumbled upon her and there was no turning back from that. "I was admiring the sunset. Do come in." The field in the empty space of the doorway popped as it fell away, something done for his benefit no doubt. "I just rented this room, therefore have no place to offer you a seat." Words polite and with a great distance set between her self and Erebus, Siebelink stepped away from the window and stood at the center, the room seemed to swallow her up. She would fit right in with the emptiness.

He looked around slowly there was not much to the room. Nodding he stepped over the threshhold something seeming different about it then it had done a few seconds ago. "I don't need a place to sit. Its ok" he replied seeing she had moved across to the middle of the room while he had probably rudely looked around. "Do you need help moving anything in?"

Giving him a curious look Siebelink then turned her gaze on the neatly folded piles of clothing still in their bags from their last shopping journey. Then setting sights on Erebus once more she would shake her head, "There is no more. This is all there. For now." Reaching beneath the collar of her shirt she would reveal a chain made of three different colored golds and inlaid with the smallest diamonds ever found. Unclasping it she stepped towards Erebus, "this should fetch enough currency to furnish my place. Correct?"

He looked down at what she held within her hand his eyes taking in all its fine details. "What is it? Sentimental?" He slowly looked back up at her, like fuck was he gunna let someone from the coven he was starting to settle in, sell of their goods for esential items. Not when he had bank accounts full of money dotted around a number of countries.

"A gift from my dead children to appease my anger. It holds nothing but rancor and painful things within its cold body. I would like to be rid of it." There was more she was sensing in Erebus' figure, something that brewed just beneath the man but escaped her grasp each time. "I won't allow more of your money to be spent for my accommodation. Not because I don't appreciate it but because I won't ever be able to repay you." Drifting to the small kitchen Siebelink would placeher gaze upon the refrigerator, the door swinging open with a simple tug of her mind, and she would place her hand inside to check that it was working and the temperature was right. "I would ask you not tell Vaughan of my being here. "

"I won't tell anyone that you are here" he moved over and took the item from her looking it over he tested its weight within his hand. "I don't need repaying, I don't want repaying and I would not accept it even if you did" he shrugged sitting down on the bare floor. "Want me to take this to a pawn shop, see how much I can get for you?"

Straightening after testing the refrigerator she made her way back to Erebus and sat down cross legged in front of him. "Yes, if it isn't too much trouble." Seeing the set of his features Siebelink knew no amount of trickery or ressure would make him cave. This brought a smile to her face, reaching forward she pressed a finger between his eyes. "You've a frown here, a sign of a stubborn disposition here." Moved the same finger smoothly along his face to the set of his jaw. "And signs of a hard life here." The fingertip moved down the frontal portion of his neck and related at his throat.

He nodded putting it in his pocket once she had given his her blessing to go and do his dirty work with some merchants, he knew how to turn more of a profit with things them most people did, hence his own wealth.
Her touching him did how ever take him by suprise he listened to what she was telling him, he didn't speak of argue with anything she said, just sat in silence waiting to see if she had anything else to say to him, her display of emotion something he did not expect.

"Contrary to popular belief I am not made entirely of ice. You display your thoughts like a video projector. Would you like me to strengthen your mental shields?" This was not how she had expected to spend her first night in a new place, but it was more suitable then if she ha planned it. Looking into his eyes Siebelunk caught the flicker of something, pressing further but gently she nudged the thought to the surface. Colors swirled in her eyes, the amber clearly moving like molten larvae. "You have lost someone recently. A man, you mourn and scream inside of yourself." Removing her hand from his throat she cupped his cheek very gently, palm warm from his own heat. "It was not your fault, Erebus. You didn't fail anyone.."

"No I don't need a shield I feel no need to hide who I am from anyone and don't see why I should have to..." he paused to listen to the rest that she had to say to him. Her words about Romal not being his fault and her hands reassuring against his face was close enough to break through, enough so that he moved away and walked to the window, clearing his throat to try and get rid of the lump that tried to choke him. "So how much would you take for your necklace?"

Floating to her feet and then simply hovering towards him she stood at his left shoulder. The same colored piercing or a looked at him from the window's reflection. They were still soft in their natural state, unlike the granite attitude they could take at any given moment. "Truth. I can see that you blame yourself for not protecting this Romal. You will not allow yourself to mourn aloud and yet carry the rage within. Grieve him properly Erebus, or that wounded heart will become an uncontrollable animal rattling against its age. His death is not your fault. There is with absolute certainty nothing you could have done. Do not blame the woman's body that killed him, it betrayed the soul it normally houses."

"I don't blame Sauri Matashina for killing Romal, I know it was Nyx." he replied looking out of the window, not at her reflection. To a certain extent yes he did blame himself the whole reason that he had come to this town in the first place was with Criston so they could help the Dimitriu and Death families. He had missed the war and now he had missed out on stopping Romal's death. Having found out from Sauri that Romal had suffered did not make it feel any better. "I am not ready to let go yet, I have responsibilities, I have things to do"

"Can you do them with a clear head? I often wonder if murdering my own kind and letting their blood run through the land was wise. I don't linger on it too much because they killed Leslat, and left me with what you currently see filling this room." Gaze swept away from him and soon her footsteps would follow. The bag of clothing crinkled off the ground as it floated into the air and followed her to the small island counter at the center of the kitchen. "I don't resume to know what you're going through or what the man meant to you even though I see him clearly from your thoughts, I can't compare your pain to mine. Only acknowledge that there is pain to be felt."
