[Blackblood]

Blackblood shook his head, knowing full well that she would never trust him now. The male vampire folded his arms loosely over his chest, before gesturing with his hands as he spoke, summoning a small orb of darkness at the palm of his hand, which was facing the sky.

"I would never take anyone to a place where they would suffer. I came to make ties to this land. Should another war infest either of our homes, I seek to have allies, and make allies, so that houses can help one another. So that each family is safe, and each home is never again destroyed. Arcane can be a dreadful place, true, but I will be the one to try and change that. Should you wish for me to leave, I will. I may appear as he did, Kenshu, and I may be leading the family soon enough, but he and I are different in ways more than one."

The orb at the palm of his hand morphed and shifted to show Arcane in a small image, as it burned and as it crumbled, and as he spoke, the orb shifted into people working together to rebuild what had been lost and damaged by the common plagues of disaster which spread through each land.

She watched the image he had made for her, held above his palm it showed her not what was going to happen but what he wanted to happen.
Dreams some times were just dreams. But he had the right to have high hopes, who was she to dash them from him.

"We will come to Acarne, can not say anything for any other members here, they have their own minds, their own lives. Which they might not be willing to risk for something so dangerous, especially when they are so weak. You ask them to help you, who is going to help them when you have no one left?"

Blackblood frowned at her answer, as she asked a question that had an answer so obvious.

"If I am left alone in the lineage to build alone, then I alone will come to help these lands. If I alone can take the war, then I alone shall. If I am to be alone for eternity, so be it. I at least thought it would not harm to seek out others."

Though she had not meant to crumble his hopes, nor deny his dreams, it was not as though he knew of what was going on in these lands. Could he have arrived sooner, he would have. Could he have known sooner, he might've been able to help the Matashina's avert the disaster that had struck. But that was something he could not change, only make up for, even though that there was no debt to be paid. The male sighed with a breath that had been sitting in his lungs for who knows how long.

"People will always be weak after a war. I do not ask them to come immediately, but when they can. I help them because they need help, and only hope that they remember that there is at least one good vampire in Arcane, if any at all."

"You think you alone could take on a war?" she asked twisting her head to look at him again.
"A war, by yourself..."

She stopped from what she was going to say so she could listen to him add to his thoughts, she had to commend the fact that he was willing to risk himself on everything. Not only his body, but his pride. KnOT would never have done such a thing, never when it came to pride. She had to give that much to Vex at least now.

"They are good here, good people, even the ones who are the worst of them. Goodness is in them and they will honour anything they owe you..." she sighed as he had sighed.
"We will see you in Arcane. When ever you call us there, but we will not live there even if we may die there. DO you understand Vex Death?"

Blackblood nodded, he did understand. Should they die in Arcane, he would have their remains returned here to the Matashina lands. Only, the vampire could hope that the recent scourge in Arcane would be the last of the wars, and he would not have to suffer the loss of his family. Slowly, the vampire's lips parted, and he had begun to speak, his hand crushed the orb, and he rose it to deliver promise to Kenshu.

"I understand, Kenshu Death. I will never ask you to come against your will, nor would I bury you in our grounds. Your remains will returned here, where your home and your family is. AS said before, I would not take anyone to a place where they would suffer. ... And Kenshu..."

The male trailed off on his calling of her name, looking to the ground. His red eyes narrowed, almost turned to slits if they could, but they did not. They remained round as normal would have it.

"Thank you. I will never forget you, nor your kindness. Should KnOT become upset with you, I will stand at your side, not his if his temper gets the best of him, as it normally does."

She appreciated what he was saying to her with the sense that some of it if not all of it were harder for him to say to her then he would have wanted it to be. He probably did not want to speak the words himself.

It pained her to speak of KnOT in such a way there was no way to deny that she loved her brother, she always had done and always would. But there are points that can not be dismissed and lines that can not be stepped over.
If what she heard was fully the truth her beloved brother, the one she had once trusted more then anyone had stepped over that line as she always feared he would.
He had become a real monster and what was worse he had allowed himself to do so.
Her head swayed again at the weight of the thoughts that rested upon her then. The spirits taking her weakness to surge she mentally fought them back.
It took a long time for her to speak again.
"If he wishes to turn against us it is not us you need to worry for, it is at his peril, we have no fear of death, no fear of pain. There is nothing that can be done to cause us any more suffering"
It was mainly true, of course where Vaughan was concerned it was another matter. She would never put him in danger by admitting him as her weakness.

Blackblood shook his head and almost smiled, almost, but he couldn't. Not at the thought of their brother turning to harm his own kindred. He'd hoped that KnOT had not turned into the monster just yet. He knew that some part of him was still good, and that it only struggled to purge the land of corruption, but how long until that very corruption consumed him? If not already... With a soft nod, he spoke again to his sister.

"I do not worry as much, I have faith in my family, but that does not mean I would let them stand alone in a fight, regardless of how powerful they are."

"You have faith in your family, our family. But do you really know the family. There are many more of us then has even been realised. Does that not lead you to wonder why none of them have stayed in Arcane, have not stayed together. Does that not make you think that their strength alone is more then it is as a collective. You can not have to many chiefs and not enough indians"

She turned around just to shoot a look towards the barrier around herself that only she could see, it was starting to crack, she was going to have to let the spirits back in soon and then her sanity would not be something she could hold strong to.

"Don't expect them to help us"
