the night was quiet after the rain it had just had. quiet and wet. a cliff-side near the caves sat as it had for years, undisturbed save for tonight. it it exploded violently, outward, pushed by a horizontal spiral of red and black energy streams and crushing the forest before it. it the building sized gaping hole that now occupied its space floated Cerverous in an aura of the two colors. one hand held a solid black scythe and the other a person by their scalp. covered in its own blood and missing a right arm, it was a vampire that had unwisely taken up refuge in this particular cave. a simple toss and upper slash ensured it lost the other as it flew threw the air. the creature landed but not on the ground, no, it landed on the tip of his scythes blade and became impaled fully through the back just as he stabbed the end of the hilt into the ground and walked nonchalantly away from his work of art.

The spike in someone's energy caught her attention, head raised with her mouth stained in blood. Cradled in her arms was the body of her victim, dropping the man she wiped her mouth with her jacket sleeve and made for the source of energy. It's emotion feeding her psychic need.
Siebelink was at the caves in a matter of moments, arms loose at her sides and had tilted while studying the impaled form; tongue moving over her lower lip before running along her fangs. "How delicious..."

Cerverous held felt the womans presence long before she arrived, a vampire, a psion. but the deadbeat had ruined his mood so he simply continued on back toward the mouth of the cave, kicked a few boulders around, dropped a wave of blood on them, and came out with an arm chair. "have at him" he said as he sat down and laid his head across the back.

"I don't eat another person's kill." Turned slowly, not truly desiring to pry her attention away from the dying man but not really having much choice. Enemies often attacked from the unguarded back and that was currently undesired. Closing lips over the fangs she stared at the other being. "You do fine workn not truly necessary because no matter how many you kill, it will not bring back the one's you've lost."

Cerverous raise his head up at the womans reply and looked at her. "suit yourself" he watched her as she spoke and turned toward, when she finished he began. "true. too true. but it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside so why stop." with a glance at the bleeding husk of vampire he asked "are you sure you dont want him?" it was clearly a last minute question as its body had already small chunks of flesh simply rising up into independent airspace.

"Positive. I have a strict policy that dictates to only eat what I kill. But if its vampires you seek, I can perhaps assist in your search." Amber optics watched the laid back man, deciding not to comment on his own theory of warmth or fuzz. "You harbor such anger and wrathful hate to this breed. Who did they kill that was so important to you?"

at the very moment that she finished her answer the dieing one exploded away from them into a spray of blood, flesh and bones. it held enough concussive force to shake the immediate area violently and the piece all imploded into a small red ping-pong ball that shot to his side like a bullet. "vampires? they killed themselves, first of all, the vampire used to be such a powerful thing, indestructible in almost its entirety. now almost all i see are disgraces that die when i look at them wrong. then there are those that serve their "Elders" or "Ancients" or whatever the fuck! they call them.." the two words had a clear venom to them "they came to my home and attacked it without mercy, killing more than an acceptable share of them." he dropped his head back again with a sigh "i used to care about the lives of others.. alittle.. then things changed and now. i feel rage, and hatred. this one just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. but your offer for help is tempting. it would be more discreet. i have not the patience to pick out the ones at actual fault"

Since arriving her shields had been in place and her body hovered off the ground the moment the first tremor struck. Anther would block any spray of bodily fluid or other from touching her at all, these were all the clothes she had for now and needed to take great care of them until she found a store that hadn't already been destroyed. "It would be unwise of me to divulge that I am an ancient myself, were it not for the fact that you can't kill me. Not in any traditional means at least." One the gory display had run its course she turned full circle to inspect the cave and strode closer to the angry man. His hatred and pain were enough to drive an untrained psion mad with hunger, or simply mad.
"Is there no one now left alive that you would risk your life for? Not that vengeance isn't without its perks, but there will come a time when even that is not enough. As for the vampires, haven't you noticed? There are buildings in the city which still stand, they create a misshapen circle, all pivotal points for a siege."

she was not in any way in danger of being sprayed by the happening. his control of blood was legendarily flawless, to the point he could even turn other objects into it. plus he no intention of wasting any part of the corpse. he inspected the nails on his bare left hand and the blood that had left when the now dead had lost his arms joined the ball he formed as she spoke. "when you say ancient do you mean by race? or just a really old vampire?" he dropped his hand as she continued.
"yes. there are a few, should they need such an action from me. and yes, i have noticed, i put some of them there myself thanks to the impulsive waving of my goddamned hand!" on the final two words he gave his right hand, covered into the sleeve in fighting tape, one such impulsive wave and in return a small forest of black spikes rose from the ground to join and replace the trees that lived in the general direction of his right flank. "and yes i know they set up their circles but as Ive said i have not the patience for my own precision and i don't wish my roots shattered by my own hand or at all, regardless of how far they've fallen sense my time... on top of that. ive got a headache cause i cant sleep."

"It sounds to me like you have everything figured out and don't require any assistance at all." Turning away from the man and his own display of power she began to move towards the mouth of the cave with hands tucked safely away into the pockets of her leather jacket. "Since you have noticed everything there is to note then finding what you seek is of little issue, and in the grand scheme of things I'm just a being you loathe, accepting my help would be as foolish as my offering." Siebelink had answered all of his questions, at least all that he had currently presented her with.

he leaned back in his chair again, propped a leg and leaned on his hand. "i suppose it would sound that way, but i dont. all i have is information with questions tacked on, but no answers and nothing figured out. just the anger." after she had entered the cave he turned in the seat to see and said "have you ever been in those caves before? they can go to some crazy places"

"I'm fairly new to the area, I haven't done much exploring save for the ruins in the city and now this here cave." Turned her head to look at him, here in the dark, the amber of her eyes intensified and glowed. Sending out small pulsing waves of psychic energy she used it like a sonar, getting pictures off minute sounds that bounced off hardened surfaces. Much the way a bat would navigate using echo-location. "Tell me why it is that you are unable to sleep." Sneakers scuffed the ground as her person turned and walked back to the man slouched in his chair. "Sleep may or may not be the key to your current situation."

he watched her eyes as she walked back to him. he always did like when eyes glowed "im sure there's another member out there with the same problem. a woman by the name Xiomara. i hope she isnt, but i am plagued by nightmares of a bitch." his body burst into a small black cloud that shifted instantly and reformed with him crouched in the stone chair with both arms hanging off his knees. "i call her The Abyssal. the most powerful being to ever live. embodiment of the great darkness. our relationship is more twisted that a funnel cake but every time i sleep she brings me to her world and harasses my mind... in a different way each time."

"I have met Xiomara, she was conversing with Erebus about being dragged to hell each time she fell asleep. This Abyssal sounds intriguing, dangerously so. I would not meddle with something like that, even someone like me knows not to knock at the gates of Hell." Siebelink took to leaning against the cavern wall while listening to the so-called complexities of dealing with this Abyssal. "Have you tried chanting a mantra so that your world is nothing but white?"

"dragged to hell? i guess thats a good a description as any. its actually worse than i thought it would be for her." he looked down at his right hand reluctantly remembering the story of its origin "a mantra. i have not tried. i doubt it would help me escape. nothing else has"
