After the second time both Siebelink and Vaughan had the pleasure of meeting it was clear both had lifestyles which demanded more of them then the time they could spend with idle chatter. however as agreed, Vaughan had found somewhere out of the way of the usual chaos to meet Siebelink and continue where they had left off

Following Vaughan's psychic signature led her to the falls where she would find the man she had been conversing with on more than one occasion. "I see today we're taking the scenic route. It's an excellent place for tall tales and secrets not wishing to be heard." The noise from the water would provide them with adequate cover from busy-bodies and those snooping about. Moving directly to the water's edge she took a knee and with her right hand's fingers coiling towards her, coaxed water out of its bed; creating a rippling spiral.

In a single moment Siebelink had summarised the reasoning for Vaughans choice of scenery to meet her, the seclusion offered in such an area a most welcomed invitation for all things secretive. It had always been Vaughan's habit to block intrusive ears and eyes from his dealings having become so conditioned by the influence of his past enemies.
"I trust you were able to find me with ease" he nods watching her manipulate the force of the water so naturally. she seemed to enjoy her own displays of gift, demonstrating openly and honestly. His lips twitched into a small smile as he wandered down to join her, though lowered and sat down upon the grass a few steps back. The leather of his boots creaked as he crossed one foot over the other, comfortably resting back on his palms. He had taken a long walk before heading to Halina Falls, partly to clear his head and also to stop in and visit Tiny for some information. Knowing Criston was very much alive rather then dust in the wind he hadn't had much time to digest the news. Now as he rested he felt his muscles relax somewhat, the soft breeze nudging the fabric of his tshirt.
"So I gave you a small window of my past, how about you tell me something about you?" he asks her as he watched the waters movement, its manipulated current by her hands

"Something about me... Alright. I'm the last of my kind. I don't mean a vampire with psychic abilities, but a true Psionic ancient. You see, as vampires evolved they branched out from different gifted heritage. My children had to be specially selected and trained almost since infancy in order to develop their psychic skills. My empire and my family grew, but so did the jealousy and rivalry. I did not have a consort and so for a very long time, I ruled alone." The entire time she spoke the water had continued to flow into a fine point before rippling back to its origin and resuming its spiral. Amber eyes remained trained on her task, wisps of chocolate cherry hair playing on the moist wind, created by the falls. Small droplets of water floated around her fingers and arm, never rising nor falling. Almost as if the time around them had become stilled and out of the grip of gravity's loop. "Now, I believe it is your turn for more of your tale." A faint smile touched her features as her head raised in order to meet his gaze, destroying the watery creation with the break in focus.

He hadn't expected for Siebelink to give him much in the way of revealing herself to him, though her open and honest account of her history promoted a respect for her in light of the small fact that they had only met. The accumulation of her story hammered at the walls of privacy Vaughan worked hard to build. At some point however he'd come to realise recently that he didn't mind the company of someone he found interesting though he thought himself insane for feeling connected to a complete stranger. This had only ever happened once and the present days demonstrated the consequence of such an occurrence.
While he watched the dance of water and almost frozen water droplets in mid air his mind reeled with thought, a torrential downpour of information new and old. She spoke of children and a family, the threat of jealousy and rivalry, concepts his own family had come to known. All the while he listened and reflected, his eyes travelled over her form. Paying great attention all until she met his gaze, the sudden splashes of water breaking him from a shell of chaos.
"True...your past seems rather busy for someone who seems so quiet." he comments. He stayed as he was, rested back on his palms, an unusual sight for him to be seen sitting around as relaxed as he was. "Lets see then... I was born the son of an elemental woman and my father, whom i can only describe to be a breed somewhat vampiric but demonic entity. Nero...from the family Dimitru" he began wondering how long it would take him to explain such a wierd family. "I know i have three other brothers and more recently have come to learn of Asha, our sister. From what I've learnt about our history, my father led a group solely aimed at glorifying a patriarchal society, siring children with elemental women of pagan background across the four navigational points of the Romanian country. Once a child was born Nero would return, killing the mothers and taking the sons. If a daughter was created they too would be killed. Nero wanted the bloodline pure, carried by men only so that his bloodline would haunt the world for an eternity. Thus my three brothers and i were created. however...." he tells her, sitting upright since he concentrated on telling her in the simplest way possible. "A council of ancients residing over the country recognised the fulfillment of the Dimitru prophecy, that once all four sons of the entity were united a reign of terror would last across the lands and threaten to destroy all. This commenced a war and the four of us were kept at the corners of the country to prevent us form finding each other. We all grew very different lives up until a certain point, myself under the guidance of Criston, my fathers right hand until they argued on the direction of the Dimitru clan. Criston helped me to work alongside the council and send Nero to the underworld, locked away to prevent him from bringing terror to the lands. From here, many things have happened i guess" he shrugs, always seeming to grow tired of recounting his story since he was never too proud of his fathers direction

"There wad a flaw in your father's plan, man will always fall for women that are born from the tree of the forbidden fruit. That is not to say it is a bad thing, only a truth we negate with our entire being " Rising from her position near the water Siebelink strode with a sense of feline grace, a predatory instinct dictating her movements; and settled down beside Vaughan with outstretched legs. Liquid amber in her eyes bore into the water, her shields and energies brushing noticeably against Vaughan's Psyche to keep the chaos from spilling out and rupturing its vessel
"I was kept separate from those I sired, my hunger always present due to having to channel my abilities constantly or go mad from their awesome power. My own fledglings saw me as a threat and built me a great stone home, a cage in the guise of love. They were right to fear me, I don't distinguish from family, friend or stranger when I am hungry. I simply eat. Each solstice they would bring me sacrifices, and for many years I lived this way too, until they brought him." Licking at her lower lip she leaned forward and drew her knees towards her chest, arms draped loosely with hands about her shins. "His name was Leslat, a known hunter that had been tracking my children and killing them off with ruthless methods, torturing them first to glean information. I hated that man. Hated him like I have never hated anything before, I would hurt and feed from him everyday, giving him enough of my blood to heal his wounds so that tomorrow I could render him useless anew. He cursed my birth and I cursed his, and yet... he was the only company I ever had. On nights when the moon had blood in its aura, my hunger would subside and I could not bring myself to break him. All this time I had spent alone despite having a family, I asked Leslat to kill me. He could be free of me if only he destroyed me, and he agreed. The next Blood Moon came and I waited, resigned and somewhat content that I would get to rest; only he couldn't bring himself to do it... He asked I turn him instead, he claimed. He would keep me company for all eternity, so I granted his wish, and signed his death sentence. My lineage had grown stronger and angry that I now had a guardian. That the hunter they had brought to kill me had failed them, and they revolted. I gave Leslat the duty of walking my territory to make sure humans weren't being turned. It was on a quiet night like this that they attacked, a barrage of psychic waves hammering away and devouring my minnd. The physical pain of being dismembered was nothing compared to the damage my children did to my mind. They left only my head for Leslat to find, thinking me dead and hoping he would walk into a trap they set up..." Siebelink's tone had fluctuated between anger, to love, hate, despair and finally resignation throughout her storytelling. Amber eyes had remained on the water which had begun to rise and began forming the scenes she described. Its liquid state making it hard to determinne who was who if she hadn't been regailing the tale herself and clarifying.

her response to his story was one of understanding and intelligence poured from her. he appreciated her acknowledgement and found her rather unbiased. this was not at all like most he had met before.
he sat and listened to her exchange of information, the noticeable fluctuation in her tone pin pointing places where pain remained in her memory of her children and no doubt of lestat. She reminded him of the complications in loving someone, something of which he had longingly tried to avoid until falling into the arms of Kenshu. as the water rose before them he turned his eyes upon the element and watched, connecting the pieces as he did so. Her tale was tragic, a type of romantic affair which encompassed so much pain and yet so much happiness. It was not right for many things to occur throughout the realms and worlds, and whilst he himself would not condone such a way for her to live he could see the reasoning behind it.
"You certainly do not disappoint" he commented after her voice died into the silence of the day. He glanced at her and gave a slightly saddened smile. "Your children...do they still roam this earth?" he asks her.

"The last thing I would wish to do is disappoint you, although the possibility that I will is very likely." Turningaway from the water it held steady a few heartbeats more then melted away. The light glow to her amber optics was subtle and unobtrusive, their liquid heat and warm color turning as chill and hard as ice. "My children are all dead. After Leslat's last effort to save me and bringing his downfall I hunted my children down and washed my land clean of their debauchery with their own blood."

"ahh i see," Vaughan returned with a respectful praise of sorts. something his father had failed to himself in their past. "I hardly think you would" he returned to her comment of disappointment as he shrugged and changed the position of his feet, crossing the other on top. "Lately disappointment has become a good friend it couldn't get much worse" he smiled small

"You're quite the optimist, aren't you? I would think disappointment would only worsen and maybe your expectations are too high. Why not lower the bar and give someone a chance to surprise you?" This was all speculation on her behalf and though a moment ago the talk had been of murder and pain, it now shifted its course to a steady and familiar sense of peace. It was unhealthy to hold onto the dead. "Something's changed with you Vaughan. Since we arrived here you have placed a wall I could easily tumble.

"why lower expectations? would it not attract fools in for an easy trip rather then intelligent beings such as yourself" he answered her with another question, though it were more thoughtful then a query. he listened to her and smiled gently, taking his eyes away from her to focus on the scenery ahead of them. "The only thing that has changed is my willingness to learn your story. Sometimes to attract information from someone you need to become just as open and vulnerable. "I only speak somewhat optimistically because besides my own downfall, There couldn't possibly be much more that would surprise me. we've recently experienced a lot of horror and bloodshed in these lands.

"Lowering your expectations would ensure that you are not alone and that if it does attract a fool, then you are least entertained.I do sense that you have closed yourself off to me, though I cannot blame you for wanting to stand alone, after all to creatures like us this is nothing more than a passing fancy. The concept of someone hbearing witness and understanding your turmoils is fruitless." Stroked cool fingers through the grass beneath their bodies in a thoughtful manner, searching not the scenery for answers or beauty but looking to the expansive celestial body overhead; cluttered with fickle constellations."The land bleeds and cries just as we do, its why it tries to soothe our wounds with greenery and an sky that reflects our world right back at us." Briefly moving the amber optics to trail Vaughan's profile, she posed another question. "Why do you suppose the heavens reflect the earth and plant life but never the animals or the vast humanoid races? Is it because we are all impure and possess impure souls? Or is the soul what shields us from a holy unknown fate, exposing us to an unending darkness and its horrors? Did we do this to ourselves? Are we unworthy of joy?"
Catching the self-monologue the topic had led her to, Siebelink fell quiet and listened to the world and the soft breath of the man beside her; to the humming of his heavily guarded secrets and the breaking of something he held precious on the most intimate of levels. Something that had been broken with its jagged edges and sharp points still broken in a pile of shards that would fiever be guarded by the strong cage of her ribs until time ended or severed her tie to a half-life as one of the many queens of the damned.
