Looking around his new apartment he let the workmen out after they had just installed a phone line for him. It was the first thing he had done since getting here.
Having set up temporary lodgings here boxes and bags were piled up against the walls sitting ready for him to unpack but he didn't make any attempts at doing it just yet.
Walking to the phone he grabbed it and sat down flicking through a charred red phone book it didn't take him long to locate the name he had been looking for.
Dialling he waited for the answer. Not speaking until he was sure who had answered.
Rubbing the side of his face he sighed “Hey Criston its me, you need to come here to the Matashina grounds its not good the boys and Asha need you”

Hearing the sound of work boots had awoken her from her slumber as she shifted onto her side and looked to her sleeping bed mate who wasn't a sleep at all he was as lifeless as she felt but she gave kiss on his cheek and whispered a thank you for the life energy that she took before grabbing her things and leaving and
locking the door behind her.
As she stepped out into the hallway, her eyes had dimmed into a low glow as she switched her to read people. she crept off slowly up the narrow halls with small creaking sounds but had she nearly jumped out of her skin when a worker called out to her "Hey lady is this your wallet?" she spun around with a smile" yes that's mine" the worker jogged over to her and handed her the wallet and hafter that he disappeared into another room for work.

Hearing footsteps outside he frowned hanging up with a fast goodbye he walked slowly to the door keeping one side slightly behind the other as he progressed through the hallway.
Looking through the peep hole he saw a woman walking up the corridor.
Feeling for the gun he has in his belt he opened up keeping inside his own room to see what was going on.

Just as she turned around to leave she heard the sound of work heels clicking up the stairs and the fumble for keys in a handbag and in the corner of those geryish blue orbs she spyed the woman dressed in a blue and white maid uniform. making her way to the very room that Adele had exited and with that Adele shifted all the way around and kept walking. her own black heels clicked and just as she approached the door that workers had left a scream echoed the.hallways with elderly maid running out *Hurry call the ambulance Mr ray is dead* panic was set deep in her voice.
Adele ignored the cries knowing all too well that they won't find the reason why he died but as she got closer to the door she stopped her eyes scanned the hallway up and down."Hmmm."

Swearing underneath his breath he realizing the one who was stalking the halls was the obvious killer of who they were all shouting about.
Stepping out into the hallway he turned his head his right hand covering in a deadly yellow flame.
"I would leave now if I were you woman"

Turning sharp her left hand had disappeared under her leather coat and pulled the load pistol and with energy she had gain her movement was quick but agile as pointed the gun at the man the safety clicked off and those geryish blue hues were covered by neat curls of black tresses that wispinto her face and her eyes were set on his aura "Don't be so quick to judge"

"Yeah don't be quick to judge she says pointing the gun at the man" he laughed his flaming hand still down beside him not aimed towards the woman.
"I would lower that gun I do not take kindly to having fire arms pointed at me for to long and I won't warn you again" he smiled a toothy grin.
"Now if you are done with your mexican stand off I would have to insist you get out of the hallway"

Lowering the pistol as she clicked the safety on and placed it back into its holster with a sly smirk tracing over her red lips "And what makes you think I should go? " arching a slender eyebrow as she took a step back and folded her arms against her chest firmly but not letting her eyes come off the man as she watched each move and read what she could.

He nodded towards the security cameras that marked the corner of each corridor "That's why. I am guessing that you are the one who killed the man by the way you are walking and rushing around. They would have seen you come out of the room and they will know you are here now. The human's they will call the police and you will be held in the cells"
He shrugged "But hell do what ever you want, its not my ass 'gunna rot on death row"

looking up towards the cameras and smiled "First they'll need to find cause of death" turning on her heels she kept walking before looking over her shoulder a limp on right leg four be seen "But for now ill take the word and warning" energy crackled around her as she made Ger further down hall way movement slow and sluggish. as if she was saving the energy.

"Probably a good idea" he called after her walking back into his room.
Grabbing a black leather fitted Jacket he put it on scruffing his hair he stepped back out into the hallway locking his door. Grabbing a mobile phone he turned on a tracker which would give his location away to Criston should he want to find him and talk.

Making her way down the stairs with a quicken step but came to a sudden stoo above second floor and glanced down the flight of stairs and watched the two hooded figures stomping up the stairs "Hunters" frowning and a snarl at herself as she swung open the window and slid out and pushed herself free only to land on her feet and dashed off after hearing the yells "She's heading your way".

Casually walking down the hallways he didn't fail to notice a few human hunters wondering around the hallways looking very purposeful.
Tapping on one of their shoulders he had a terrible personal hatred for anyone who hunted the immortals.
"Excuse me mate can I borrow a light?"

The hunter ha been speaking into a hidden headset. before looking up at the man as he fished out a lighter "Here you buddy " smiling as spoke silently into headset "Cannot be that hard to capture on simple woman"
Adele darted left and right as she left the young hunters in her dust and turned sharply into ruins ofa building crouched low as men stormed in "Sir the harlot is no where to be found."

Taking the lighter he looked it over in his hand playing casually with it he produced a cigarette lighting it slowly not showing them any signs of what he was other then the Amber coloured eyes which gleamed unnaturally but beside wearing sun specs there was not much he chose to do about it.
"You playing a game of cat and mouse hmm Mr men in black?" he asked handing the lighter back he held onto the man's hand for an extra second his own skin as hot as an iron sizzling anything he came into contact with other then his specially made clothing.
