Coming Home

[Camilla]

Getting him to laugh had been a success and she grinned even as he pulled her down into his lap. The kiss to her forehead reminded her of the old days, and when he pressed his forehead to hers she smiled and looked into his eyes. "Who is we? I would be worried for you, falling in love with a dude." Taking his hand and getting to her feet she followed after him, content.

This was better than kissing, because their bodies recognized each other. For a while she walked in silence and then pulled out the medical journal; flipping through it with one hand since she refused to let go of the other. "Hey Daggs... there are still people chasing me."

[Dagger]

"We are one, one is we" He snickered and kept hold of her hand, he walked with her as he thought to himself before snapping back out of his thoughts when she said something, the words rung within his mind as tilted his head slightly, he wasn't to happy to know that but knew so long as they were together that anyone in their way would not stand much chance, he glanced to the book she was looking at and shook his head. "They try and they will find themselves with a few more added holes then what they started with" He would kill anyone who threatened to harm her.

With lightning reflexes his free hand moved to his belt and unsheathed one of his more favored knives, spinning it between his fingers, he never cut himself no matter how fast he got it to spin, it helped keep his temper in check and an old habit he always did, he pressed a rough kiss to the back of her neck, he didn't really like that book she was reading but if it helped her then so be it.

Camilla's eyes flickered to the side as he took out the knife, her feet twisting and using the book in her hands to slap it shut over the dagger he had just pulled out, releasing his hand and pulling the closed book back; taking his dagger from his hand at the same time with a laugh. She opened the book and twirled the dagger between her fingers, the kiss to the back of her neck leaving her skin warm. "You're not the only one that can wield a knife anymore, Daggs. I've got a few of my own moves."

Twirling the dagger she held onto the blade and held the handle out to him with a devious grin. "Though I might let you make more hidey holes in them if they come near the coven."

[Dagger]

Rolled his eyes slightly with a smirk. "Oh please kitten, you won't beat me when it comes to knives besides you have you own talents" He watched her in silent thought for a few moments before biting his lower lip partly. "Is the coven home now?" He asked quietly, it was more to the fact he never settled long enough to have a home, when he was with the troupe he was always constantly moving from town to town, now he was no longer there he was not to sure if he could handle settling in one place or not, he kept hold of her hand yet stared straight ahead of them.

Camilla gave Dagger's hand a squeeze and held his dagger out to him, looking straight ahead and following calmly as they walked along, just holding hands. "I think the Coven is home now. We don't have anywhere else to go and it's the only place that will accept us as we are." She looked over at him, tilting her head slightly. "Do you not like the coven? If you want to go somewhere else, I will go with you. Somewhere you feel comfortable."

[Dagger]

He slid the dagger back into it's rightful place. "I do not know if I can settle in one place after so much moving around you know?" He would go where she wished to go, he did not wish to leave her side again, he brought her hand to his lips and pressed a chaste kiss to the back of her hand. "Where you go I wish to go as well, I do not mind the coven I have good memories of it, but I also am not to sure I can only have one place to call home, to me home was never an option" There were a lot of things he never had growing up and he was fine with that but he did not wish to drag her away into his troubles knowing she was dealing with her own.

[Camilla]

"That's true, I can't settle in one place either. But I really missed this place, you know? Everyone is so accepting." She smiled when he kissed her hand, swinging them gently afterwards. "I learned new tricks, I can kill with a song. I can heal with a song. I may be useful now, but if you don't stick around Daggs... I won't either. I'll go with you; even if you try to ditch me. I've decided."

Looked at er carefully, she was actually stronger then him cause he was only human, he would fight for her no matter the cost to himself. "We find a place only we know of and spend time there and at the coven?" He did not wish to make her leave a place she liked, to him it was different, he was not as trusting of the coven members as she was more so cause of how powerful the were, he was good but not that good and he also did not like the way they kept humans to just feed on, yeah he was not one for the whole save human race thing but he was human as well.

[Camilla]

Camilla pursed her lips in thought and gave a small shrug, it didn't matter to her where they went really. "Sure. Let's go find something in the woods. Last one to find a cabin or a house is a rotten egg!" grinning, she rose on the tips of her toes and kissed his cheek before letting go of his hand and jumping up onto a branch. She crouched there for a minute, visible and then she triggered her camo and disappeared, her leaps onto the next branches were silent and her weight evenly distributed as to not make the branch creak to give her location away. She was feeling playful and hopefully so was Dagger.

"That's cheating, you're faster then me" He chuckled before walking at his casual place, however he brought both blades together, letting them give off a ring like nose, he was listening to the vibrations it gave off, turning one way and then another before following the path, using his daggers as guidance, he was well used to doing it this way rather then jumping around in hopes of finding something.

Looking around, the woods were not as he remembered them but then again nothing was, he muttered quietly to himself as he walked, yet it seemed like he was more talking to himself then anything in particular, he kept his voice very low before stopping and looked toward the clearing in thought, he wondered toward it at his usual pace, he was never in a rush now days. He stopped in his tracks and blinked, staring at the massive gathering of vampires, he scoffed, just his luck as he stood there idly playing with the spinning daggers, him watching them and them watching him.

[Camilla]

Camilla was holding onto a branch overhead, frowning as she saw the vampires gathered down below; she was invisible to them and was thinking of how best to get rid of them when Dagger walked right into them. She almost smacked herself on the forehead at how he had just happened to stumble upon them and let out a slow and steady breath that would not make a sound and give her position away. She was debating on whether she should help him or let him take them on just to see him in action.

She knew how dangerous Dagger was with his blades and didn't question whether he could handle it or not, she knew the man could handle himself and what came at him. Perhaps she'd just be back-up in case he needed it for some twisted and humorous reason. Her pupils dilated and a protective lid flickered open and shut when she blinked, lips turning into a smirk. Show me what you've got Daggs. she thought to herself, waiting while they watched each other like a Mexican stand-off minus the guns.

Spun the daggers within his fingers as he yawned rather boardly. "I never knew this was a gathering of twits, and here I was looking for a little fun, pity there is so little of you lot" He shook his head before stepping back half a step and brought his hand up, slamming blow for blow with the man as he grinned, leaning closer. "Anyone ever told you, you guys reek like dog shit left in the sun?" He laughs, he loved messing with vampires like this more so cause he knew well he could take them. Twisting, ducking and dodging each blow, while he was still human he had the skill and speed to keep up with the group.

He lowered backward, his circus nature coming in handy as he slid back, flicking both his hands from his belt and to shoulder, the daggers each hitting their mark as he seemed to be dancing with the vampires, making snide comments here and there, he wasn't worried in the slightest, he knew she was watching, he twisted low and brought his hand up, he had a few scratches but that was all part of the fun, dropping vampire left right and centre before spinning the last daggers back into his belt and grinned, looking at the leader's stunned face. "How sad is it that your little broad just got wasted by a human" he laughed hard as he once more locked blows with the vampire.

[Camilla]

Camilla frowned from her perch as Dagger taunted the vampire with the death of his partner, she didn't like seeing that part of him. The part the relished in separating creatures from their loved ones. It was cruel that he was drawing this out and rubbing it in the vampire's face, even if they had been the ones to attack Dagger. She shook her head, but continued to watch them tango down below. A rustle in the leaves and the sudden change in weight told Camilla that someone had jumped onto the branch beside her. When she turned, she was face to face with another vampire and her lips curled up into a wide grin.

She kicked him out by delivering the blow to his face and watched him tumble out of the branch and onto the ground below, leaning forward and calling out as she let herself be known. "Sent you another one Daggs!" Maybe he could manage it and not get too cut up. From where she sat she saw the little cabin she'd been looking for and hopped onto another branch. "I'm going on ahead, I see the cabin. Looks like you're the rotten egg!"

[Dagger]

Twitched slightly. "That isn't fair, you play hide while I take out the trouble" He went to say something else when he doubled over, grunting as he felt a massive wind knocked out of him, usually he was used to it but this was something else, he coughed up blood and smirked. "Damn lucky shot" He ripped out the dagger and round house axe kicked the vampire hard as he could which only resulted in further damage to himself but he didn't care he was used to the beating, placing one hand to his chest and kept fighting.

Once he had taken out the last one he dropped to one knee, his hand still over the wound in his chest as he glanced at in thought, almost debating as he chuckled. "Damn she did win after all.." He muttered before falling forwards the massive wound starting to create a pool under his form as he passed out, the other cuts were light but this one had stuck part of his heart, he didn't have the energy to do anything else other then collapse in his own blood.
