Caine's comment sent a ripple of tension through Vaughan, he wasnt in the mood to start thinking about how he had hit Romal, nor did he have the time to start feeling any sort of emotion other then determination to help save Romal and themselves. Nathaniel's added retort didnt do him any good either and Vaughan found himself snapping at the both of them as he pulled the gloves on and tested them. "Be quiet the both of you, I dont need your shit right now" he snarled, walking over to the container and thinking of how he would carry the soaked chains. He had discussed the most appropriate method of moving Romal with Tiny only days earlier knowing that simple restraints wouldnt keep his brother held down for long. no, instead he had Tiny ship him over a cupboard worth of holy water, something of which he wasnt happy to get on himself either, hence the gloves.
Reaching into the water he grasped one set of chains to begin with, carrying them over to where Romal lay as he grit his teeth in frustration. Nero would pay at some point for the way Vaughan had been forced to deal with his brother. But for the moment Vaughan Knelt down and instructed Caine to move his hands away as he reached down, clasping the soaked cuffs around Romal's wrists. The bindings would keep him subdued and Vaughan knew well that it would burn him with annoyance. Better an angry Romal then a free monstrously angry one.
As the sound of skin and holy water sizzled with small plumes of steam, Vaughan stood and walked back to the container to collect the ankle irons, returning moments later and gesturing for Romal to move before clasping those on. He cared little for whatever the other brothers would do, right now his focus was solely on Romal and securing his brother. So intense was his need to be accurate and more important timely, Vaughan reached down, scooping Romal up by holding onto the chains which linked Romal's cuffs and hauling his youngest brother over his shoulder, his jaw clenching as small loose waterdroplets hit his own skin, burning small spots as he carried Romal inside and slowly down the stairs to a small cage at the end of the cellar room, dumping him inside before walking out and closing the door, padlocking and bolting the lock shut.

He didn't wake as the soaked chains were locked into place via cuffs his body remaining in the state Vaughan had left it in, he again stayed unconscious when his brother lifted him carrying down into a cellar containing a cage with just enough room for Romal to lie down but not much more. For hours he lay there a mixture of the current that had been used, the trauma to his head and exhaustion keeping him down luckily deep enough that even his father couldn't reach him his mind having closed down to all influences but the darkness that it needed to recover. Almost a day would have come to pass when Romal did begin to stir, by now his injuries had long ago stopped bleeding the blood dried into blackness upon his flesh, the redness had also faded his face a mixture of deep purple and black bruises accompanied by lesser bruises of browns and yellows, his left eyebrow had split and swollen, his nose had a crack along the bridge and his lip had swollen badly.
With his eyes still closed still semi under the grips of unconsciousness his left arm rose with a groan as it jolted against the chain linking it to the right one, dropping it back to his side he tried to roll onto his right bringing his knees up which he also found to be chained. Moisture soaked him and soon enough he realized that not only was it soaking him it was scalding him causing another more pained groan to echo from his chest. The memory of what had happened slowly drifted back to him as his eyes opened to view the room, anger rising in his weakened form as he saw the cage, his reaction to fight the chains and try to get to his feet. "Let me the hell out of here" he snarled at no one in particular, now he really wanted to rip their heads off.

The hours had passedv a lot slower then Vaughan would have liked, having time in the end to place an iv drip and spare points of insertion on Romals left arm and right hand, post Caine on watch while he showered and pulled on a fresh pair of jeans and black singlet. He had iced his hand which being of ice elemental wasnt entirely too hard and by the morning Nathaniel and Caine had both taken shifts to give Vaughan enough time to ring and discuss the latest with Tiny before heading back downstairs when Romal had stirred and began to snarl. Nathaniel had looked at him and simply left the room after Vaughan had earlier instructed them to leave Vaughan with Romal alone before anyone else spoke. There was only one chance in Vaughans opinion to get this whole situation corrected, if they could not bring Romal back then Vaughan would kill him, and Romal would die by his hand alone, his burden to carry.
Vaughan seemed a hell of alot different these days with the heaviness of his own secret, and he wondered at times if making a pact with plague seemed to influence his mood back to how he had been many years before living with the brothers. He shrugged this thought off when he opened up a small round canister, vapour of dry ice leaking out as he reached in to pull the bag of liquid which had been kept cool. He was cold and calculated like he knew he would have to be for the moment and regarded Romal only by voice, not at all visually. "Your probably wondering how the hell to get out and ring our necks but i'd relax if i were you...things are about to get a whole more uncomfortable." Vaughan spoke in a calm voice, walking over to the side of the cage to remove a robe from a hidden contraption located beside the door. The cloth fell to the floor as it revealed a small blood mixing machine, similiar to something used in complex hospital procedures when operating on hearts. But this was no medical emergency situation. Instead Vaughan hung up the small bag of blood, metallic in colour. He clipped on a dripline which had been hanging and he knew eventually Romal would discover the other end was connected to the butterfly connection on the back of one of his hands. Vaughan had taken much care to bandage around the curface of the connection and then apply tape to prevent any possible way of disconnecting the drip. As an added measure however Vaughan had also prepared a dart gun, having asked Tiny to prepare doses of Angel's blood in each capsule. One way or another, Vaughan had a plan.
"Romal, Nero has warped your mind so much that you've turned your back on your siblings, I am going to help you remember who you are and what you really feel when it comes to our father" he told his younger brother, leaving the drip line open to run for a moment or two first. He needed Romal subdued, there was no way they could help him while he tried to kill them.

Hearing footsteps behind him he measured the gate of it in his head it was Caine and he seemed to be leaving heavier foot steps coming down the stairs and into the room. He knew those to be Vaughan's he growled in the memory of their prior meeting Romal's face a painful reminder of it each time he changed expression. Vaughan to seemed to be staying behind him for now Romal didn't try to roll over and face him he just listened by the feel of the water it was something that had been blessed, he guessed the cage would be either blessed or hexed also which would mean he couldn't get out not unless one of his brothers let him out he would have to wait while trying to work out another way of getting himself free he hoped some how Nero would help him but he would never ask or call for him to, he would gladly fail and die first. "Ringing your necks wouldn't cut it" he growled as Vaughan semi mocked him confirming that there would be no escape from the cage. "Much to kind" Things were being moved around now behind him and Roma decided it was time to turn. Twisting and wriggling he growled as the water soaked further into his skin burning it but he eventually faced his brother realizing that with in his arms were needles, he could feel them now.
The blood hung in plain sight and instantly gave Romal a shock of images, Angels when he fought them and lost every time they had bled chromatic blood just the colour of the blood that hung before him, he pushed himself back instantly though there would be no getting away from it as Vaughan sent some through the lines that were connected to him. Panic buzzed through him, Romal was highly intolerant to anything Angel Vaughan knew as much he couldn't believe that he would use such a thing but he didn't have much time to seethe about it as the blood trickled into his system.
The reaction was instant and crippling his body jerking harshly in reaction bucking against the chains which held him there, his limbs were over taken with tremors as his head smashed back against the floor of his cage cracking open the flesh of his scalp. As he writhed he grunted and cried out in pain, noises of an animal being torn apart slowly a muffled name or two falling through his lips as he started to mildly hallucinate at first only jumbled images until his seizure eventually slowed leaving him shivering in much less of a threatening state then before.

Vaughan had not taken what Romal said to heart, he knew Romal had endured more then he could imagine at the hands of Nero. What he did listen to however was the awful sounds which escaped his brother when the ange's blood began to mix. He bit back any sense of guilt or sadness as Romal writhed and shuddered, focusing on turning the valve over once he knew enough blood had been administered. heaving a sigh he walked back up the stairs calling out for Caine before heading back down again, pulling over an alluminium chair. the scraping sound echoed through the room before it stopped and Vaughan sat down, looking over the form of his brother and hoping to god it wasnt too late

Caine wasnt so sure bout the plan though after much convincing by Nathaniel and Vaughan he had realised the importance his own abilities would play as part of dividing his brother from Nero. His own psych abilities had been unstable lately and Vaughan had put much work into helping him through his own growth before asking him to help Romal to remember while blocking out Nero from having a hold on him. There was no way in hell Caine would have the ability at current to destroy the link that had been forged by their father but with Vaughan's help administering the angels blood he had a damn good chance.
Hearing his name called from downstairs, Caine shoved his half eaten pizza in the fridge and headed downstairs to where he could see Romal shuddering and Vaughan sitting oposite the cage. They had already discussed what Caine needed to do and he had prepared to be around the cage for hours rather then infrequently. He quietly collected a bean bag he had unpacked days before and wandered over beside Vaughan, dropping the bag and then himself ontop with a gruff sigh.

He lay dazed and confused as his world swan around him threatening him with darkness as he fought to regain and keep any focus he could get. Vaughan had called Caine he caught that and he wondered what horrors they would now do to him, he frowned suppressing a groan as he tried to move his head splitting with pain as it rubbed against the floor beneath him. At least in this state he could only hear his own thoughts not those of hos father or anyone else, though he could still feel the channel was still very much open. Having turned his head to look at his two brothers he took in their swimming images his eyes dark with unseen thought as he stared at them silently for what seemed like an eternity. "Need more then that to kill me Vaughan" he broke the silence his voice though quiet and weak sounded loud in his ears almost making himself flinch. "Looks like you have enough"

Caine's gruff sigh prompted a small glance in his direction before Vaughan returned his attention to Romal, the focus on their operation. Vaughan searched over Romal's form with his gaze to identify the full impact of the administration, scratching notes down on a small piece of paper and tucking it into his pocket. His laugh broke over the end of Romal's words much to the surprise of Caine who watched with a raised brow. "You have no idea little brother but this isnt an issue." he replied with a calulated coldness. He nodded to Caine to set up his psychic block while Vaughan continued to watch Romal "Nathaniel will be down soon, he is just stocking up the fridge with a few extra beers" he told him, setting a pace for the day. He warmed when he raised a small smile and looked towards him "You remember thursday nights dont you Rom? Yourself,Nathaniel, Criston and myself, playing poker.." he mentioned

He looked between the two of them feeling Caine rummaging around with his mental powers he frowned not letting his panic rise. He knew he was out numbered and out gunned. He had no chance and Nero would punish him worse then his brother's ever could. At the thought his eyes darkened and his arms pulled again against the chains which held him down weak from the angel blood he still managed to make them groan but that was a far as he went his arms dropping back as Vaughan started to smile at him reminiscing about their cards nights. The picture of them all sat around in better times filled his mind but only stirred up a feeling of deep conflict confusing him more enough that a grown rose from his chest. "Of course I remember" he snapped at them his voice full of rage as Vaughan tormented him. "Let me out we can play again"

Caine had not had the chance to train up in what he was about to do but given it was a family issue he would lay down his cards regardless. Despite Caine’s own dark past he still couldn’t fathom how Vaughan seemed to inflict pain against Romal with little care. He was wrong about that but he would never know.
He made sure he was comfortable as he worked, his eyes misting in swirls of blacks and whites while he focused solely upon Romal, deflecting any other sense of others in the room away though he would utilise the energy from Vaughan’s presence to push his own abilities forward. Managing to work a solid shield around the cage that housed Romal Caine focused mainly on providing a block between Romal and any psychic attack. The downside happened to be his own instability after a certain point which would open a plethora of possible infiltration to his own mind. He had no hesitation in taking on his father; he had worked with Vaughan and Tiny to boost his own protection. Managing to make his wall of protection he nodded, a small signal that it was okay to proceed

“We wont be playing poker today little brother” Vaughan replied with a serence calm within his voice. Caines nod hadn’t gone unnoticed and Vaughan leant forward in his seat “Romal, you have a window of opportunity here to understand what this is, what it really is, Dad cant connect to you right now so your mind is on its own.” He explained in a low authoritive tone. He wasn’t going to scold him for attacking them, he realized more so then the others that Romal had been a pawn on the chessboard. “Romal all of this time, Nero had lied to you. We are here to help you.” He replied his eyes staring at his brothers with held emotion within them. “Remember that you moved in to live with us, Nero has never been around at any point other then to cause harm and destruction”

It happened in a sudden wave like a tsunami taking out a village without warning. Everything went silent within his mind he could no longer hear the voices muttering away quietly and most importantly he couldn't hear the deep evil voice of Nero embedded deep within him. Every moment since his rebirth his head had been crowded, he had no idea which thoughts were his and which belonged to others and where he should have probably felt elation at the silence something much worse happened.
Frantically his eyes scanned the cage around him, fleetingly glancing from his brothers and back again as a panic unlike any panic he had ever felt seized him so powerfully that his breathing which despite having no real use to him picked up rapidly as did his heart rate a sweat of cold breaking out across his skin as his body shook with the tremors of shock. He wasn't equip to deal with it all yet, he hadn't been himself for so long that he now had to process it all so suddenly he couldn't cope.
A cry left his lips as the words Vaughan spoke were lost on him the memories of exactly what had happened to him in hell and since he had returned reigned down on him wave after wave assaulting his mind with the mixed emotions they carried only all at once. Tears stung his eyes as his teeth grit against huge gasping sobs and screams which tried to rip through him.
It went on for so long that he was sure he was going insane, he didn't know which way was up or down, who he could trust, who he was a confusion so sever settling over him that all he could do from falling apart was close his eyes and beg for something to help him. Vaughan's end statement reached him burrowing its way into his skull festering there planting the seed of doubt against his father and what he had been led to believe.
