Crazul sat on the fence and just gazed out over the pasture, the sun casting its warmth over the grass, and his skin. (Hopefully the sun isnt an accepted danger on this site) One of his favorite things so far since being brought out of the cold russian wilderness by Ajax, was the sun. As he felt the light warming his skin, he watched the others with their animals out in the pasture. He wanted to go pet one, but his wariness of animals, a habit ingrained in him by centuries of being hunted, kept him at a distance.

Quiet as the snow falling in winter, Xiomara walked along the fence of the Ranch while humming to herself. There were things that kept her away from the Coven and she hadn't mingled with many of the new joins in a long while. There was one she had seen staying on the edges of the world, a look of yearning that she recognized in his eyes.
Following his gaze she noticed he was looking at the animals and their groomers, riders, trainers or owners. Approaching him she leaned on the fence and looked forward to where his gaze lingered; probably scaring him with her silent approach; and for this she kept her voice equally low to lessen the damage. "You won't be able to pet or ride one from this distance. Why not go closer?"

His entire body tensed as she spoke, then he made himself relax, he was getting better. He was grateful that she had spoken softly, anything louder then a certain point still got his heart racing, memories of being chased by screaming humans still fresh. He looked over at her, "Well, to be honest, well, Im scared to get closer. Pretty much everything larger then a deer would attack me before. Wild horses, elk, and of course predators larger then foxes. So, it has been fear that has kept me away." He finished, then looked away, a slight flush creeping over his cheeks from admitting he was afraid to this stranger.

Xiomara chuckled, not because he was afraid but because he was flushing about being afraid as if it were some shameful secret. "Well..You're not going to get over your fear like this. Come on." She scaled over the fence and set to walking, her braid bouncing against her back before she swept it over her shoulder; stopping to wait for him to make up his mind a hand outstretched. "Come on, no one is going to harm you here. I'll show you a trick or two to getting a wild or unfamiliar animal from chasing you. But you have to trust me." She smiled, showing slightly larger than normal fangs though she wasn't a vampire.

He he paused for a moment, then slowly dismounted from the fence. He walked up to her, and cautiously reached out and took her hand. "Thank you" He said, in a soft voice. He followed her as she lead him out towards the animals.

She really wasn't expecting him to take her hand but there was no objection from her, leading him into the stalls she grabs nuts, oats, and an apple. "Here, these are for you." Next she led him to the stables where some of the horses were kept, thinking it best to start him off small. "The key is not being afraid of the animal you're approaching, they can sense your fear and they react to it because they think you will attack." Releasing his hand she nudged him forward gently, "go on and try it. I'll be here beside you the whole time."

((Lol, you did have your hand out)) He took the items she handed him, and as she nudged him, stepped towards a horse of the purest white hair, nearly as white as his own. When it looked up, he flinched, but remembered to act confident, so, with a slight tremble in his step, he moved towards the horse. He saw its eyes were of the deepest blood red, an albino. He held out the apple for it, offering.

She chuckled and pushed Crazul closer to the horse, then moved to the side and patted the horse's mane to keep it calm, stroking her fingers along its neck. "Shh... That's a good boy/girl." She would look back at Crazul with a grin still stroking the horse's mane in soft patting motions to keep it from startling. The hooves danced along the ground, giving off the sign that it knew Crazul was dangerous and the beast was becoming jittery.

The stallion remained still as Crazul approached, he took the apple offered him, and Crazul reached up to softly stroke his head as he ate. When his palm made contact with the majestic animals head, a small spark jumped between them, and for a brief moment, before he broke contact, Crazul could feel the animals beating heart, and see himself in it eyes. He pulled his hand away as he stumbled back. "That, that was amazing" He said, "What was that?"

Having noticed the spark, her hand had flown away quickly and was rubbed against one of her thighs. She stared at the man she'd come to meet on Samhain, then back to the horse with a curious and questioning gaze. "I...I'm not sure... It seems to me you've made a connection." In her other hand she still held the oats, which she offered to Crazul. "Let's try it again, but without you bolting like a rabbit, yes?"

Nodding, he took the handful of oats from her, and held them out to the horse, who took them with out hesitation, then, pushed his head up against Crazul's chest. When they made contact again, Crazul could see into the horse, and not just into his mind, but into his memories. From the youngest memories, to fighting off the red stallion that had led his herd, to leading that same herd through a snow white forest to find the next open grazing lands. He stood there transfixed.

Watching as he reacted to the horse and the horse to him, she took several steps back and perched on a loft of hay. Knees tugged up to her chest and moss green eyes watching man and beast become one. The hairs on her arms rose, sort of sensing that something was taking place but unable to see it. The tigress within purred words that only Xiomara could hear. A strange one, my most precious soul.
Xiomara nodded, head tilting slightly while her fingers toyed with the braid and waited for Crazul to come back into his own body and remember where he was.

After living through the stallions memories, and experiencing the thrill of the run, he came back to his own mind and body. He took a step back, and faltered, nearly falling. He caught himself on a beam, and laughed, "That, that was amazing, I dont know what that was, but it was amazing." He looked over at Xio, and saw her playing with her braid.

Her reflexes were sharp and as he swayed back she moved to catch him, but he had caught himself on a eam. Curious eyes alternating between moss green and cerulean blue. She had no idea what had just happened and it could be seen by the way her eyes flicked between the horse and Crazul, continuing to play nervously with her hair. "What happened?" Though hesitant, Xiomara moved towards the horse's stall and pulled the door open; having to suppress the tigress or risk making the horse become violent.
"Well, nevermind... you don't need to tell me, it just looked like quite the experience. Are you interested in riding? They're quite fast and come in handy when you're on the run." She smiled, looking at Crazul who was strange but very interesting .

He looked at her, his hand drifting up to pat the stallions neck as he, somehow, felt its mind tensing to attack. "Easy friend, easy." He muttered, again, without knowing why. He finally spoke to her. "Ride him? That, would be fun." He said, remembering some of the men hunting him riding steeds, granted the steeds were small, pitiful animals compared to this majestic beast. His hand stayed on the horses neck as he continued to look at her.
