Regaining Power

Ceverus gives her a look as though to say how right she was. "You have no idea. Gets lonely as well." he says with a chuckle. "That's precisely why I spend so much time at the coven. Even had my own room at the estate. Sure watching wraiths smack at each other over a bit of food has a certain level of entertainment but otherwise I'm stuck listening to the priests babble on about darkness knows what. They have no sense of humor." he adds, unaware that he was rambling again. He takes a breath in and smiles as the smell of food wafted to his nose. "We're getting close..."

Ariana nodded her head and smiled a little "Perhaps you should get them to see a little day light. That might brighten their sense of humor." Bright honey amber eyes turn to look towards the small town. She could feel her insides knotting up at being in a confined place and she hoped that they could find a place to sit outside rather than inside. "Good. I am hungry."

He chuckles slightly at the comment of daylight. "Well here's the thing, daylight and the shadowkin don't really mix too well. It's the equivalent of putting a vampire in the sunlight." He says with a shrug as they approach a small building decorated as an authentic Italian restaurante. "Here we are...I wonder if they remember me."
