“I get into a lot of trouble with Ari, mostly because I tend to wind up naked.” Blurted out in laughter, shaking her head and taking another sip of the laced coffee. Looking at Erebus she chewed her lower lip thoughtfully before adding, “perhaps if you drilled small ventilation holes in the star, to feed the flame oxygen it would keep it from going out, don’t you think?” Shifting closer, those moss green eyes continued to bore into Erebus’ own amber gaze, as if she could tell what was going on beneath the calm and playful surface. “You want to tell me what it is that’s really bothering you, Erebus? And spare me the small talk about it being family members you didn’t know you had.”

"Well you see now that bit of information, thats a little bit of info that I do not need" he nodded slow "I don't think that I will need holes but if it makes you feel better then we can do that" he stared back at her as she seemed to be trying to stare him out. He huffed at what she said next he always hated being serioud unless he really had to be. "Well...." "I found out that my father is a God called Agni. I don't know what that makes me. I dunno how I got here or how old I was, I know something out there is not liking that I am around but again I am underinformed. Its kind of like the life I have lives was a cover up and the paint is breaking away showing the first coating if that makes sense"

“Not in that sense, pervert. I meant that I always shift and so does he, since he’s always trying to prove he’s stronger. It’s like….playing with a distant but familiar friend. Sometimes I think that he isn’t really interested in me as a man would be a woman, and vice versa.” Rolled her eyes with a snort, taking another sip of her drink and looking out at nothing in particular while listening to what he had to say, glancing at him out of the corner of her eye. “Hmmm.. That does make some sort of sense, like a veil has been lifted from your eyes and you’re finally seeing what is real instead of this half-life you lived all along. So you’re what we would think of as a Demi-god, since you’re very much killable? At least, that’s what it sounds like to me. It also feels as if you are coming onto new powers, and perhaps this thing that isn’t happy with what you’re doing is related to your father?”

"If you are not interested in each other in the way you should be to be a couple then you should not be together or one of you will end up resenting the hell out of the other one when one of you realises you are not on the page you thought you were on with one another" he shrugged fining the relationship that she had with Ari stranger and stranger the more Xiomara told him about it. "Ew I don't want to be a Demi-God I don't want the term God to be anywhere in the name of what I am and yeah fragile as a human but shhh its a secret" he shoved his hand on his mouth. "GuhhH" flopping back on the porch he sighed "I just want a nice low key life. Nice nothing happening boring life"

Blinking as Erebus laid back she started laughing at his expressions and the way he said he wanted a boring life but often complained about being bored. Setting her mug down she crawled over and peered down at him with her head tilted to the left; eyes glittering in the dark with the shifting motion. “But you like being oogled and drooled over, I could tell from the first time I saw you and your fabulous fashion sense.” Grinning she sat back on her legs and poked him in the chest. “Not to mention that you’ll end up getting bored of boring and if you have the title of ‘God’ you can use a cheesy line. For example, some random girl goes ‘Oh my God!’ then you can do a heroic pose and go ‘That’s me!’…Not to mention how much fun would it be if Sauri or Ajax said something like that and you do the heroic pose, answering their prayers!” This caused a fit of giggles to burst through, the whiskey was obviously having an impact on her sense of humor and the ridiculous things she found amusing now.
“As for my relationship with Ari, I think we’ll end up okay. It’s a cat thing, and I know he cares for me deeply because well he hasn’t killed me even when he’s gone feral and I’ve pushed every single one of his murderous buttons.”

He laugh/snorted at what she said a smile crossing his otherwise now moody face. "Whats wrong with wanting to look my best in a world of ugly things?" he asked looking up at her as she looked down upon him with a cocky expression upon her face. Wriggling back up the deck he swatted away at her hand as she started to poke him in the chest "No poking, poking with spindle fingers is cruel" He started to laugh again at her laughing fit although he didn't find it as funny as she did "Thats awful I don;t want to be a god, don't make me!"
"You and Ari are mental thats all"

“Well I can say that I’m mental, that’s for sure, but I don’t know what Ari’s deal is. He seems pretty sane to me, all things considering.” Shrugged and mock pouted at having her finger swatted away. Yawning she stretched out leisurely and shook her head some, perhaps drinking had been a bad idea. “I’m not making you be a god! You’re one on your own! Can’t you tell your father that you refuse?” Tilted her head the other way, blinking curiously at a spot just outside her vision, the hairs on the back of her neck rising, her skin filling with gooseflesh. The stitched over eyes of the Obeahman looked back at her and her nails dug into her knees, stripes of darkness breaking out along her skin as a defense mechanism. She blinked and he was gone, leaving her rooted to her spot a moment before she reached up and wiped the sheen of sweat from her forehead. “Well you do a good job at being stylish in such mundane settings. Kudos to you, Erebus.”

"Mundane I would not call this place that, for example your mini freak out there seeing something scary that I couldn't and the fact I keep seeing shit you can't see also does not seem boring to me" he replied pushing her right shoulder gently away from him so he could sit back up without accidentally head butting her. "If you fall asleep on me here, how am I supposed to stop the big scary things from taking you away?" he asked ignroing all of the questions about being a God and talking to his father from the time being, her mini freak out having caught more of his attention then their conversation had.

“What?” looking away from the spot behind the trees where she’d thought she saw the Obeahman she blinked a bit confused at Erebus, shifting back when he pushed against her shoulder. “I won’t fall asleep, but if it does happen, you have to wake me up as soon as possible and make sure that I’m surrounded by lights. Not in the dark and not in the shadows. I can’t.. you can’t get me out if I’m in the shadows.”Ran a hand through her hair, looking back towards the place the voodoo man had been at. “I wish Mackie would leave me alone.” Rubbing a hand along her arms she shifted and drew her knees to her chest, vigilant of the darkness. “I know it’s not Mackie anymore, but it still freaks me out. Kenshu, Cerverous, and Reaver…” her voice broke on the last word and she cleared her throat since the man had died in the war. “They all helped me send him back to hell, but now…Look Erebus, you can’t tell anyone okay? But….when I sleep I go back to hell and Mackie is there, and he makes me..do things. Like… last time I crawled into a furnace, I didn’t want to but I crawled in and when I came to my own body again, someone had stabbed my hand in order to shock me awake, only I was covered in blisters.”

"What, what I saw your face change" he pushed on until she spilled telling him all about Mackie, he already knew what he was from the moment she said the name of Obeahman he had ran into one a few years before when he was in the company of Coran and Rucka and he knew just how nasty they could be, luckily it had not fixated upon him the way Mackie had upon Xiomara. He felt sorry for her knowing he would be very hard to get rid of dead or alive unless he was locked away deep within a caged pit in hell. "If you fall asleep I will bathe you in light and get you back I promise" He moved his hand to her shoulder patting it gently. "I would come down there and get you otherwise, its hot down there I would be in my element anyway" he grinned. "Do you want me to look into trying to get him somewhere he can't reach out from?"

“There is a way… But if I asked you to come with me to my home would you be willing to do so?” Turned her attention from the fringes of the tree line and back to Erebus, he sounded like he knew what he was talking about and she was just telling him about a possibility of getting rid of the Obeahman. Reaching to her ankle she withdrew the dagger sheathed there and held it aloft, staring at the blade with a distant look. “This was my father’s. I think I told you this, but I get the feeling there is more to it than meets the eye and in my hometown, there is a shaman who lives separate from the rest of the clan…. I haven’t visited her since last year, and I think she might have answers. The only thing is…” this is where she would meet his eyes, a bit of hesitance in asking him to risk life and limb on a possibility. “It’s very cold up in the snow capped mountains. I don’t know how willing you’d be to go with me on this escapade.”

He folded his hands into his lap twiddling his thumbs together he let her talk knowing her first question would most probably be hailed by an explination. He was all in for it until she mentioned the cold, not only would be be vulnerable to the cold but he knew what was seeking him. "Right" Thinking through it fully she shrugged simply coming to the decision that the Greek God Boreas would find him where ever he would go so it would make no difference. "Its ok, I will go with you. I just need to find some really good thermal clothes and boots"

“Thermal pants and boots, right. I’ll get you some nice coats as well. We can leave whenever you’re comfortable.” Watching him closely she noticed the twiddling of his thumbs and tilted her head to the side, curious at this new development. “Why would you go to such lengths to help me? You barely know anything about me, Erebus. I’ve given you nothing but grief and you also seem a little nervous about being out in the cold. Is there something you’re not telling me? Because now’s the time to lay it all out.”

"I am vulnerable to the cold. Its like rat poison if I were a rat" he replied relaxing his hands as he saw her watching. He didn't know enough of what were going on with the God's he had only had the one dream so far so he had nothing to tell her other then a general feeling of unease which she had already sensed as soon as she had arrived at his new home. "Because I know you would help me and I would like to think of us as friends. Or is that me getting carried away with myself...." Gasps "You hate me!?" hid a small smile

It was hard to remain serious when Erebus was involved and she found herself involuntarily smiling. “Yes, we’re friends as far as I’m concerned and if I hated you would I do this?’ Rising to her feet she padded to where he had told her the extra key was, intending on taking it when he wasn’t looking but now more to prove point than anything else. Retrieving the key she pocketed it, and raised both brows at him. “What say you to that?”
