The rain cleansed the lands wiping away all of the soot and ash leaving the remains of dozens of fallen buildings blackened and burnt showing to all for the first time since they had been buried by the ashen power.
Standing upon what would have been a high street in the town stood Ajax just as soaked as the remains, though he seemed not to notice as the water coursed over his body drenching every part of him.
His arms were folded his shoulders set in a tense posture his body language stating that he was in no mood for meagre conversations with any passing towns folk.
A slight hardly recognisable frown pressed upon the corners of his eyes creating the smallest of creases as dark brows furrowed.
The night was darker then most, as though it reflected his mood and what was happening though as far as he knew it was just coincidental.
Metallic eyes tracked something within the darkness, a long thin hunched over figure skittering around in the remains picking at the objects, throwing many but keeping a few, unfortunatley for the creature it had not noticed the Coven master watching it, waiting for it to draw closer to him like a fly to a spiders web.

The silence of the scene was disrupted by a gauntlet slamming into the creature and instantly killing it. The projectile then flew back to it's owner and reset itself to rest over his wrist. The red-haired Nataku simply looked at the creature that he had just destroyed and then turned his head slightly to gaze at his master and began to descend out of the sky.

Ajax watched unmoving as the creature he had been watching was obliterated instantly something landing upon it. His eyes followed the object from that moment watching it as it returned to whom ever owned it.
With slight surprise he realized that it belonged to Nataku watching the coven member come towards him his stance changed opening ever so slightly.
"I may not have wanted that creature dead"

Seated on the ruins of an old rooftop, watching everything that had been going on. He watched the two below but kept within the shadows, unsure what had just happened and made sure not to get in the way of the two.
Moving to the edge and just watched to see what the two below would talk about, there was not much point in hiding and he had guessed his precense would be felt soon enough especially from what he had heard about a few members of the coven.

Nataku then stopped his walk enough to talk with the master of the coven. "Apologies sir. It appeared to be a foe to the coven and to yourself." he spoke out, his blank mechanical stare not changing as well as his voice.

"Well it can not be changed now, you have killed it"
He watched Nataku his metallic eyes taking in the form of the member before him. "He was not a friend of this coven though. You could say that so I will let your actions slide. Thank you for trying to protect the coven"
His hand rose into the air as he spoke his fingers curling sideways pointing straight towards a young boy.
"Ever hear a tail of curious cats little one?"

Pulled a sai out of it's sheath and tossed it up and down, looking down to the one now pointing at him, a few sticks of chocolate were hanging from his lips. Slidding from the building and walked toward the male.
"I take it you are the one who did all this damage in that silly little war you brought to your own lands Ajax Matashina." He knew well who the other male was but the one beside Ajax he didn't. The sai resting against a blood soaked leg, just looking up at the male with mis matched eyes, no fear showed as he just stood there. He wanted answers and what better then to meet one of the twins themselves to get them.

Nataku only watched the new opponent and with a weapon drawn, he did what came naturally; he raised his arm to point one flying gauntlet directly towards him, ready to fire.

He watched as Alex came towards him with such a brave attitude for one so young. If he were not so young he would have been struck down and killed right where he stood for showing such insolence and disrespect for the master of these lands.
Metallic eyes roamed over the details of the child before him for a long time before he made a reply to what was said.
Placing one hand upon the shoulder of Nataku to stay any movement from him he ran his nail across the bottom of his chin keeping within his mind the age of the person who accused him.
"You dare to walk to me which such accusations?" his voice would have dripped with ice if it could have in that moment a threat not in any way hidden from his words. He had killed his own fledglings for less.
"Get your information and facts in order before you come to me again"
Sweeping the child out of his way he moved on towards the creature that Nataku had slain only moments before.

Smirked. "They were after you and your sister. The old ones, You doomed your own town and lands. Stupid god damn vampire." He didn't care to be pushed aside and just stood there watching the two.
Looked to the other, he wasn't worried about pain, he didn't have any nerve endings to feel it but cause of his connection to another was the only thing stopping him from out right attacking Ajax even though he knew he stood no chance of beating the older male.

Silence fell when the foot fall stopped, Ajax coming a halt at the words the child had spoken which such malice. Facing away from both Nataku and the child something akin to rage contorted the features upon the marble face into a grimace of pure unadulterated anger.
Wiping his face clean of any traces of this before he turned back towards the one who had spoken to him with such thoughtless abandon he stepped forward the space between the two diminishing quicker then the eye would have been able to catch or process.
“There were warnings, many and plentiful, over a series of weeks and even months that this were to happen. The ones who stayed here to fall at the hands of scum knew very well what they were waiting for. And Those who did not!” he paused reigning himself in from breaking the neck of the child before he could even blink
“Those that did not should have bloody listened the warnings were everywhere. No responsibility is taken by this coven or by me for the loss of life in this town. Those hard nosed humans had every chance”
“Now remove yourself from my company before your little body joins the pile of corpses we have yet to bury”
Looking towards Nataku now he made his warning very clear to him that this child were no longer permitted to speak to him in such a way.

Grins ever so slightly, he had gotten what he wanted from the older male and just turned, walking away, a small thought cross his mind. "Wonder if she's nicer then he is, only one way to find out, plus father said she would be here sometime." Vanishing from sight into the shadows.

Darcassan moved to the left of Ajax, what had drawn him there was the rising anger within one of those he classed as family to him. He took notice of the other man, having seen him back during the war, a respectful nod showed to the male, hardly noticing the child's leaving.
"Is everything alright Ajax." His tone was calm and collected as usual, not many people he knew could get Akax's anger up so hard, he held full respect for the male, had he not then he wouldn't have faught for the coven nor for it's members the way he had.

As the look his master gave indicated his target was now to be destroyed. It was then that he began to walk off and presented no further threat to the coven and to the present party. Although he was still sensed by Nataku, as he disappeared in the shadows, his energy signal dropped from his sensors and was undetectable.
He noticed a newcomer who was part of the Coven and determined he was an ally of theirs, giving no sign of emotion to the respectful nod coming from him, though he knew what it meant.
"The intruder is not sensed in our presence anymore. His threat level has diminished." he spoke to Ajax, a metallic and emotionless voice being emitted from his person.

He continued to ignore the child even when he heard him commenting about his sister as he left the area where they were standing. Sauri could easily put the child in his place were he to push her the way that he had attempted to push him.
Arriving beside the creature he wanted to inspect he paused Darcassan arriving on the scene as well.
"Everything is fine, Nataku killed an intruder and a child found out that getting lippy with me does not get a very good response"
He responded to Nataku now with a nod and a 'Thank you' Before kneeling down to inspect the sorry excuse for a creature now deceased upon the floor of the Strip.
"I wonder why it stayed here"
