The hotel room shook as a wounded scream echoed, the windows of the room simultaneously shattering as a pulse wave emanated from Caine. Woken from a light slumber it had felt as though his insides were boiling, a thousand demons clawing at his insides as his eyes snapped open. His runes seemed to combust with a powerful glow and his muscles tensed as his hands scraped at the bed's sheet with panic. little had ever been experienced by him in this manner, something about the sudden onslaught terribly confusing. once he had stopped his scream of pain he panted for air, looking frantically about the now chaotic room. with shaking hands he reached over to the night stand, knocking what was left of the lamp off the table as he gathered his cell. the first person he would ring being Vaughan, to see if this was what he thought it may be.

Asha's neck felt heated as she appeared not too far away from the scene. of course it had been an awful surprise to have stumbled upon her brother this night with the covern mistress, Having headed towards them to say hello until their voices hit her ears. She had paused as if frozen in time, long enough to see her brothers heart ripped from his being in such a senseless and brutal act. Asha had not had the time to understand any part of the situation at hand, tears unrelenting as they streamed across her skin. She felt her stomach twist with pain as she watched Romal fall, and once she managed to find some sort of feeling in her legs to move into the open she did it with oncoming rage.
Hands shook as she tugged her bow from her shoulder, fingers quivering as she slid an arrow into line. Her breath halted as she swallowed back a choking cry, purple iris's flaring as she focused on a Sauri weeping.
"Get away from him!" she hissed as she headed into the clearing, a glow sliding from her fingertips along the arrow as though she projected some sort of energy into the wood.
"you get AWAY FROM HIM!" She screamed as she aimed her bow on Sauri and now Ajax as he appeared, ignoring all of his chatter as she felt numbness wrapping itself around her.

He sighed regretfully once Asha arrived upon the sight of her brother, he had hoped that he would at least have had the time to remove Romal from the area and clean the male's body up before his family would see him. But that right was mercilessly taken from them now.
Getting Sauri right upon her feet he pushed her gently behind him protecting her from anything that Asha would have to attack her with.
Taking one step forward he looked to the grieving woman with sad eyes "Asha, this was not of our doing. Sauri did not do this" he tried to speak as calmly and as clearly as he could so what he said would have a chance to be understood and grasped by Romal's sister.
"It was not Sauri"

Vaughan felt the feeling for the first time a very long time. clearly whilst he had never felt the infliction of his brothers emotions, the destruction of one was powerful enough to shatter the barrier block the council had placed upon Vaughan Dimitru. He was amid pounding pavement in a wild search for his brothers diminishing energy source when his cell rattled in his pocket.
The screen glimmered with caines name, a churn of Vaughan's stomach, half in relief he knew he was alive but guilt that there were three remaining siblings to check on. of course he hadnt known whether the same reaction would be felt with Asha but he couldnt rule it out.
"hey...somethings wrong" He answered in time to hear the same from Caine. He ran through the condos, already having checked to see if Romal was next door. he hadnt stopped in his stride until Asha's screaming echoed in the distance. he slowed, hand holding his cell against his ear as he crossed paths with the horrid scene, eyes switching between all parties present and at last on the fallen body of his brother
"caine.....the coven...its rom" he muttered as his phone slid from his hand, falling to the ground with a crackle.
The breath in his lungs left him as he made his way towards Romal's body, pausing to place his hand on the tip of Asha's drawn arrow. the corners of his eyes twitched as tears ran freely, not the time to stand emotionless as he made asha drop the bow and pulled her against him. he turned her into his chest as he looked across at ajax and sauri, and then to his brother

Her eyes glimmered with tears as Asha screamed at her. She silently did just that, and let Ajax move her behind him. She made herself stand, though all she wanted to do was crumple up and wither.when she heard Vaughan she cringed. She couldn't look at them. Despite the fact that Nyx had killed him...she had been in Sauri's body. She had invaded and done the unthinkable in a time when Sauri was weakest. She couldn't handle so many deaths in one short time...and she was starting to crack.
Suddenly, she bolted. Irrational and unstable she ran for water, the falls. She threw herself in the water and washed her skin. Though it looked red to her still she frantically tried to wash theblood from her arm and clothes. She growled, cried and screamed at herself. She would avenge Romal... she had too. His last words running through her head she closed her eyes tight. "I'm sorry..." She choked out, and sat at the edge of the water.

Watching was harder then he had expected, he could not even imagine what they as a family were going through. The thought of something happening to Sauri tore him up. He knew not what to say or what to do to help them with the situation. But as Sauri let go and ran from him he felt obligated to stay near by even if in the distance. It was the least that he could do for them now. Just be there.
Silent and weary he awaited the arrival of the last brother.

Having heard the screams from his own home he had left Alex sound asleep. Locking the door he quickly sprinted off into the woods knowing the scream of Asha very well he also knew it would take a lot to get her to make such a noise.
Speeding as quickly as he could towards where he had heard her he saw he soon enough wrapped up in Vaughan's arms both of them looking distraught.
Scanning around for the reason he suddenly stumbled to a stop, Romal's body not more then ten feet away from him slightly to the left.
"Oh God..."
Quickly going over to the body he bent down his hand touching against his friends shoulder to revive him he quickly pulled back at the sight of the removed heart.
His hand covered his mouth in shock as he sat back for a moment lost in the horror of it all.

The spirits had been whispering horrors to her for hours leading her to leave the house and search out the brothers an unsettled feeling curling its tendrils into her belly as she plodded along a dusty path.
"Lies always lie to us" she grumbled to the spirits angry and disgruntled with them but she soon found out that for once they spoke the truth to her.
Elemental blue eyes grew huge at what she saw, Romal dead, Erebus upon the floor next to him, Vaughan, Asha and Ajax.
To blinded by anger and pain at the death of someone she considered her family all sane responses left her. The name of 'sauri' whispered to her by the spirits.
Spinning around she easily located the woman with a murderous glare her fangs protruding in a deadly grimace she sprung towards her.

She sat hunched over the red water. When Kenshu appeared with a merderous glare she looked at her. Her eyes dull she looked back at the water. "Don't believe all they tell you Kenshu. Nyx has taken his life..but in.my body. Do what you want to me..I don't have the spirit to stop you..." By the time she finished speaking her voice was a whisper. She wouldn't raise a hand to Kenshu, and she waited...for whatever would happen. She had seen everything...and did.t have enough strength to stop it. She braced herself silently.

Vaughan's words as he spoke over the cell were short and shaken, the crash of the cell a loud ringing sound in his ears. flinching away from the cell when the sound breaks against his ear, Caine's brow furrowed. Surely it couldnt have been that bad...
Sliding the cell into his pocket, Caine sprinted towards the covern as his brother had directed. his runes glimmered against his skin, the pain from them subsiding as he made his way towards what he assumed was simply Romal and Vaughan. He hadn't expected to intercept a snarling Kenshu and water soaked Sauri. As he bounded across the path and into the stream, he let off a snarl at Kenshu and grabbed Sauri by the waist, pulling her around his form before he stopped between the two, Not having immediately noticed the fact that he had run through a wishwash of blood and water.
"Hey cut it out!" he growled, not sure why Kenshu was acting weird. He put it simply down to Vaughan being around again. he turned to glance at Sauri but found himself slowing to ask questions when he saw the look in her eyes
"what the hells going on?" he asked confused.

The commotion to the side caused him to move from his statuesque like state. Moving across to Kenshu, Caine and Sauri he pushed Kenshu away gently until he female would be forced to back away from them all.
He then moved around Caine, pulling Sauri well away from him not knowing how he would react to his sister once he had known what had happened.
Standing protective in front of his twin now he looked at Caine.
"Caine.. go to your brothers. I am sorry" no matter what there was between him and the male he truely was sorry. He would never want him to suffer the way he was about to.

A blink and in a whirl she was standing and against Caine. She heard everything, and looked at Caine. When Ajax pulled her away she shook her head and broke down again. "Romal is dead...Nyx took advantage of my weakness and killed him with my body. She possessed me...made me watch..." Her voice cracked and she turned away, her shoulders bunched she braced for the worst. It hurt so much that she wanted to shrivel up...she couldn't look at them..even though it had not been her she felt responsible.

As Ajax pulled Sauri from his grasp the ugly twisting sensation of bile crawling up his throat took over. He didnt see eye with Ajax even at the best of times however he had never physically prevented them from being together. His brow furrowed further as his mouth opened in a slight and silent protest, unclear on what in the hell he was going to say. Ajax stood as though he were a foe, as though he had nevered settled on their land and only until Sauri spoke did he understand why.
his throat seemed to instantly dry of all moisture, his limbs suddenly clearing of all weight as the words spilt from her lips hed so often kissed. Confusion overwhelmed him as he glanced between Sauri, Ajax and Kenshu, eyes suddenly seeming a little distant as he dreaded the oncoming footsteps. Looking at the twins he knew it came down to family, and whilst hed begun to forge one with Sauri Matashina, his brothers and sister were awaiting with the dreadful suprise. turning on his heel he walked past Kenshu, breathlessly passing a half voiced apology as he struggled to take himself over towards the others, but alas somehow he did so.
through the small shrubs and trees which had blocked his view, Caine finally came to lay eyes upon the sight of his brothers now cold corpse. Asha had all but folded Vaughan around her as she sobbed, his older brother angrily staring him down as he had appeared. He noticed erebus also, so still as he stood with hand over mouth it looked as though time had frozen him in place. He walked to his brothers body, falling to his knees as he stared down over Romal in utter disbelief. He tried to summon words but to no avail and as such tried his best to rouse Romal from the eternal sleep which had befallen him.

Cerverous floated high in the sky above the coven area, the only place he felt was safe for him to sleep anymore, his dreams of happier times. and just like that, these dreams were broken, shattered like glass from a gunshot. the first thing to hit him was the blood: two groups, fear, anger, horror, hopelessness, and everything in between, and the one that kicked him into action: lifeless. the very next perceivable moment he stood a few steps away from Romal's body, staring down as Caine attempted to change such a fate as this.
in his mind a white mist descended around the world, outside his mind his eyes glowed a bright white and getting a response from him might take a bit of work. vague forms moved about, nothing more than a collection of this mist and leaving a thin trail of it as they moved. 'too hasty' he thought 'an unstable transition.' this would make things more difficult, but he still had time. as long as he stood there, he had time.

Asha had soaked his shirt with tears, though Vaughan's jaw tightened further with anger as he watched Caine tried so hard to rouse his brother.
"Erebus" he managed to announce. "please, take Asha and call Criston, let him know whats going on and tell him hes failed...again" he growled.
"she better have a damn good explanation for why she let that bastard play havoc with Rom" He snapped, turning and heading in the direction for Sauri and Ajax.
